138 S Market St, New WilmingtonWe came with a wheelchair bound adult. We were greeted with a smiling face and told about the brewery/food area up a few steps. Since we were unable to go up the steps, the staff very graciously offered to open the garage door and showed us to a handicap accessible spot. The food was DELICIOUS and we are SO grateful for the staff’s hospitality.

The Tavern on the Square
108 N Market St, New WilmingtonThe Tavern on the Square was good in most every way that a restaurant can be good. From the first sip of cocktail through to the last bite of chocolate cake, the food was delicious, the atmosphere was warm, and the service was friendly and professional.
In today's world, we all suffer so so many indignities and disappointments. Thank you to the owners and staff for putting that all aside, taking your work seriously, and making a wonderful evening for my wife and me.
