As a professional wedding photographer, I recently had the honor of photographing a couple's special day at the charming Iron Mills Farmstead venue in Pittsburgh. I am excited to share my experience and leave a glowing review of this picturesque location.I was enchanted by the serene beauty of the surroundings. The venue's historic barn, quaint farmhouse, and sprawling fields provided a stunning backdrop for capturing timeless moments of love and celebration.Working with the team at Iron Mills Farmstead was an absolute pleasure. Their professionalism, attention to detail, and genuine enthusiasm were evident in every interaction. The event coordinators worked closely with the couple to bring their vision to life, ensuring that every aspect of the day was meticulously planned and executed.The venue itself is a photographer's paradise, offering a wealth of picturesque settings for capturing breathtaking images. Whether it was the weathered wooden beams of the barn, the sun-kissed fields at sunset, or the cozy nooks of the farmhouse, each location provided endless opportunities for creative photography. The natural beauty of the surroundings lent a timeless quality to the images.Overall, my experience photographing a wedding at Iron Mills Farmstead was nothing short of exceptional. From it's attentive staff to its delicious cuisine and rustic charm, every aspect of the day surpassed expectations. I am grateful to have been a part of such a magical occasion, and I wholeheartedly recommend Iron Mills Farmstead to any couple seeking a unique and unforgettable wedding venue!

We recently had our wedding here and it was fabulous!!! I can only comment on it from a wedding venue standpoint, but Leah the coordinator was amazing from the beginning as well as all of the staff (Haley and Taylor!). The venue is beautiful and they really know what they are doing as far as weddings are concerned. They took care of so many things that I didn't even think about. Our day was amazing and I can't recommend this venue enough!

From start to finish, I can't say enough amazing things about IMF! It was truly one of the easiest and best decisions we ever made. Once we stepped foot on the property we were blown away by how beautiful the barn and ceremony site were. Not only does IMF have air conditioning, but they have back up rain plan for the outside ceremonies. There are so many small, beautiful touches about this place that sets it apart from the other barns out there.Leah, the IMF Coordinator, went ABOVE and BEYOND our expectations. Not only was she prompt and professional, but she answered every one of my million questions thoroughly. She posts each wedding at Irons Mill on their Instagram stories, which allowed me to get ideas and tips from other brides. On the day of, she was there timing my girls and I down the aisle perfectly, helping make us look our best during pictures, and making sure everything went as smoothly as possible. She is one in a million!

Words cannot describe how AMAZING Irons Mill is. Not only is the venue itself absolutely to die for with the stunning views and beautiful chandeliers, but the staff is beyond amazing. Our wedding was August 27, 2022, and it was the best day ever! Leah and her team of Allie and Nelle made sure that our day was flawless. Leah made the entire planning process so easy and answered any questions I had and was super helpful. I had not a single worry on my wedding day! We had a guest show up that didn’t RSVP and they made sure he had a seat and everything was taken care of for me! My bustle even broke right after dinner and Allie and Nelle came to my rescue and sewed up my dress while I was talking with guests. The property is ABSOLUTELY breathtaking and there are so many gorgeous spots to have your photos taken. We still have guests rave to us about how amazing our wedding was and honestly, a HUGE part of that is because of IMF & our vendors. I highly recommend choosing Irons Mill as your wedding venue!

What an incredible place to get married. Irons Mill was the most beautiful venue from the outdoor ceremony area, indoor cocktail area and upstairs reception area with the infamous chandeliers. The venue itself is perfect for weddings, with parking onsite, a bridal suite to get ready in, air conditioning, a fire pit and more. Leah and Nelle were amazing. They are wedding experts and you can tell they really care about your day. As venue coordinators, they go above and beyond to make sure all of your questions are answered, other hired vendors have everything in line, and all your ducks are in a row. They even helped set up some of the outdoor decorations day of! If anything, they are the reason to choose Irons Mill as your venue-we had no worries and they kept our day stress free. If there were any issues, Leah and Nelle ironed them out and we had no idea. We would recommend this venue over and over again and hope to be able to return as a guest at my friend’s weddings. We love IMF!

My husband and I got married at Irons Mill Farmstead in May 2022, and we are so happy with our choice. Leah was the best to work with, making it so easy to plan out what we wanted and answer any questions we had. Our guests were floored with how beautiful the space was and how smoothly the day went. It was so nice being able to use some of the decor pieces that Irons Mill Farmstead provides, as well. We'd highly recommend Irons Mill Farmstead!!

Irons Mill Farmstead was a dream wedding venue! Leah was absolutely amazing and made wedding planning so easy! I did not have to worry about a thing! Everyone was talking about how stunning and amazing our venue was! Recommend them 100%! If you want a gorgeous venue, an amazing event staff, and having no worries on your wedding day book your wedding here! Truly made our wedding a dream come true!

Amazing place for so much Fall fun! Every fun activity you could imagine and more! Fun for all ages! Plan to spend several hours here! It is expensive but I do think it's worth paying the price and I will absolutely be back next year!

So. Much. Fun!I had seen Iron Mills show up on my feed when a friend went to visit a few months again and the I saw some promoted posts from them. We decided to take the kids to visit and we had the best time!If you decide to go for a one-off visit it's a bit pricey at $25/person, so if you live close by (we don't) it could be worth it to get a season pass.This is not your average farm -- it has everything from food stands, tractor rides, playgrounds, sandboxes, and more! It's more like a farm / carnival / Idlewild light combo.We enjoyed trying some food from a few different spots and was delighted to find that they did offer hard cider for adults. The way that the farm is set up it really does cater to parents with kids -- allowing for the adults to sit back and have a conversation while the kids go nuts on the corn beach. Corn beach you ask? No, really, it's super fun and everything sensory. They even go as far to have an abundance of porta potties and hand washing stations. With 2 little kids I was never worried about getting them to the bathroom in time. The only thing that was a little disappointing was the lack of pumpkin patch -- unless I missed it!In the summer they feature a sunflower festival and the fall is the fall festival and I can't wait to go pick some sunflowers.]Will I be back? Absolutely!

This is a great place for kids!! Our children love it here! Our only issue was the extremely rude older lady at the ticket gate! We were excited for a fun day and that was an awful way to start the day.

Everything you could want visually. Vintage inside, outside ceremony location, trees, fields, flowers, barns, and a fire pit. One of the best locations I have been.
