Is this place even open anymore? I have tried to contact them 4x- phone message says mailbox is full, and when I texted twice- no response at all. Is this a working business? - because if so- customer service and inquiries go unanswered- so I’m not sure how they run without responding.

I paid for my horse to have and use a stall and they never stalled her. My horse came to the farm slightly overweight and by the time we left, she was emaciated. The owner of the farm would tell people “I didn’t care,” and the others at the barn would come back and tell me what she said and that my horse was never fed or stalled-which I believe judging by her condition. We were then asked to leave because the owner was no longer doing boarding. When I left and went to another barn, my horse was so aggressive because she was hungry I couldn’t handle her. She put on weight quickly at the other barn and then they finally put weight on her to resell her. I had to give her back because I couldn’t handle the aggression caused by lack of food. Shame on the owner and anyone who supports this barn. Horses die frequently here and good trainers leave. Don’t waste your time or money.

To be completely honest it’s hard for me to speak highly of this farm because 2 years ago all I wanted to do was become a working student and just have the opportunity to spend time with the horses. I scheduled a visit to the barn , met the owner , some of the horses , and even got a free lesson that day. I leave the barn thinking I finally found a good fit and a barn whom will see the good qualities I have to offer. Before I left I was told “ We are happy to have you and you’ll be a great fit for us “ The next day I received a text from the owner saying “ I’m sorry I don’t think you’ll be a good fit for us “ Words will never be able to describe the amount of disappointment I felt and the frustration I had surge through me after being repeatedly told they were happy to have me. I’m not sure what honestly ethics are at this location but I’d have a hard time recommending this business to anybody unless they don’t have an issue with being told two totally contradicting things. With all respect but I think I dodged a bullet on this farm and I’ve happily found a barn that accepts me. I hope this review doesn’t seem to harsh but it’s the truth.

My husband purposed to me on horseback here. We have rented horses to go trailriding a few times, always great!! My kids and grandkids love the horse camps. The horses r good with the kids and The Staff is always super patient with all the kids around the horses.I read some of the other reviews from yrs ago, but from what i experienced Heather and the other staff is great. This is not a high stress farm, and cell phones are not best to be on any person when working horse.

I have purchased deal on Groupon for two kids.I called them to make appointment, I left a message... two weeks later they were still horsing around.. they didn't bother to call me back. She finally responded after I have send her text message. The date was set in May, starting 10am-3pm. I've noticed that on Groupon it says 9am till 4pm. I Politely ask why she's offering different hours? Answer:" Groupon has it listed as summer camp hours."I think it's a lie!! why a Groupon would give incorrect information? And because I asked to many questions.. and she didn't want to deal with me that's what she said:"I'm sorry that the hours listed are incorrect. We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone, and I am afraid i will need to cancel your appointment. Groupon will gladly refund you your money."No reason why? Just because I guess.Horrible experience, very unprofessional.

I rode here for about a year and I would take 30-minute private lessons twice a week for about a year and then I took a break for school. Once I got home I tried to get in touch with this barn many many times to start riding again but I never heard from them again. Extremely disappointed and frustrated

This farm is a dream come true for my daughter, Heather McCarty. Heather discovered the farm while working in the Lehigh Valley as an equine instructor. My wife and I were delighted that we were able to acquire it after a year leasing it to test the market. It has been a work in progress. The property was a leased for several years prior to our lease and suffered badly from maintenance neglect. The pastures and fencing before we acquired it were and in some cases still are in dire need of attention. In the three short years that we have owned the property, we have been able to build a new Olympic sized outdoor arena, install new run in sheds, replace and reconfigure all of the front pastures, install new hay and grain sheds, clear about 70 percent of the fence lines, install water and electric to the front pastures, and expand the upper parking. We are currently in the process of rehabbing all of the pastures and making repairs to existing fencing. The views from the property are breath taking and we constantly get wonderful comments from our visitors and Heather's customers.Heather attended William Woods University and earned her Bachelors Degree while majoring in equestrian science and minoring in English. She has been in the saddle since she was eight years old, interned at a horse farm in Bucks county while in high school and owned two horses and actively participated in local shows while attending several summer camps in the Bucks and Montgomery County areas. During her studies, Heather was able to work at local facilities in Missouri while pursuing her degree. After graduating from William Woods University in Fulton, Missouri, Heather was able to hone her riding and teaching skills at horse farms in Arizona, Texas and Pennsylvania. We constantly get very good comments from the parents of her students about how much they enjoy Heather's instruction. Heather makes riding fun and safe. She prides herself in being able to match the horses in her program to a student's ability and interest. Although the students think it is fun she teaches the responsibilities that go along with the sport such as learning to spot problems, proper grooming, safe behavior around large animals, care and feeding and grooming. The farm provides a safe and stimulating place for her riders. Parents can sit under the shade of a large Maple tree in the front lawn and enjoy a picnic lunch while watching the students ride in the outdoor arena. Heather'e goal is to create and maintain a place where riders can enjoy the sport in a relaxed atmosphere while honing their riding skills. If students so choose, they can compete in the show ring at whatever level their abilities and interest take them. He student's parents often pitch in an help with the many chores that must be attended to on a horse farm, some have made and donated jumps for the arena, others bring snacks and treats for students and horses, others have helped transport students for events. It creates a nice family atmosphere were student and parents can relax and enjoy the day.

All of the reviews keep being deleted so I feel obliged to post another one trying to hilight the main points in the deleted reviews.1) Not sufficient water supply2) Not fed quality food or at a proper schedule- typically just once a day. Almost all horses are underweight.3) The horses who are not underweight are overweight and nothing is done about it.4) Many horses have worm-bellies, meaning they look fat but it is just worms.5) Fences are low, gates do not close properly. Horses have gotten out.6) Pastures are full of rocks and horses eat off of the ground, so they eat the rocks.7) The 'bathroom' flushes with a bucket of water and flows through a pipe into the pastures, and then past that into a creek.8) 7 horses have died in three years from the conditions- mainly having to do with no water.9) Lessons are not safe, all levels put together, riders forced to do things above their level due to this, and more advanced riders are held behind. Not much instruction is really given- just walk, good, trot, good, canter one at a time, good.10) Buys/ sells horses to/from Skip Eckhart, a convicted animal abuser11) General health of horses is poor. Feet are usually long and cracked, horses always lame, horses shown are often lame. Conclusion: Save your money- for the same cost you can go somewhere that actually takes care of the horses right. I brought my kid here for a few lessons after a friend recommended it. I have ridden my whole life and wanted my daughter to enjoy riding, but an 'old-timer' like myself saw quickly that this place was not the right place for her to learn.
