I called the office as a new client to schedule an appointment for my dog having a problem. They got me scheduled for the very next morning. I can't say enough great things about this place. The tech Leah and Dr Alicia were wonderful with my anxious pup and showed they really cared. I highly recommend New Stanton Vet to anyone needing a new vet. A+

On August 26, I had to make the terrible decision to let my 19 year old cat, Katie go. I called my vet and another vet and both had 2 week wait times. I called New Stanton and they took her that day. I was greeted by the vet tech, Ashley who was so kind. Dr. Snyder came in. We discussed everything. She let me make the decision and explained what would happen. The kindness and compassion shown by both of them was so appreciated. My husband and I got to hold her and, through our tears, say goodbye. We all knew that was the right thing to do. I cannot thank them enough for all they did with helping my Katie cross the Rainbow Bridge. She's at peace now.

If I could give this place a zero I would. First I would like to say I have been with this Vet since she was a Vet for Donaldson animal hospital, we followed her to her own practice because my dog and cat Loved her. This has been over 28 years. 4 pets. About 5 years ago it went down hill Dr Revelt has changed she use to be so Caring and sweet, I have seen the change. Its like she does not even care anymore just there to work thru the motions. My dogs last diagnosis of my German Sheppard was so wrong, He had a very bad ear infection, she gave me the wrong meds for him that made his ear infection worst. How I know this is we ended up taking our fur baby to the animal Hospital because his ear got so raw. The DR there said my dog could have went deaf because the ear canal was so swollen and infected he had a alergy to the meds she gave him. I have a German Shepard with allergies that she knew. and still prescribed the wrong meds. Now as they apologized. I still did trust her, because we have been going to her so long. But I made the mistake and went back again, for a intestinal issue. She wanted my dog to stand so she could get a stool sample. My dog already had anxiety. She first chased my dog around the room holding his tail, this went on for about 5 minutes, until she called in her assistant to help. this one held my dog down so hard that he was limping when we left. IS this necessary? I was so upset I had to leave the room and let my husband go in with him. She got her stool sample told me he had blood in it. He did not the blood came from her putting her finger up there while he was restless. He screamed when she did that as well. Again took him to hospital to have a xray on his paw and to see if he had blood. they said he strained his paw and no blood in stool. Again I called let her know with no return call. Sandy the woman that takes calls does not give her messages, again Incompetent's. I wanted almost a year and a half until now to think abaout going back, and the ONLY reason I tried because they told me there will be a new DR starting soon. and one of my friends works there. Now my Fur baby needed his yearly shots and he has another ear infection I suspect because he is favoring his ear. I was to see the new Dr. the office called and told me they were sorry because the new Dr had to cancel I said ok just as long as you can get me in as soon as possible I do not want my dogs ear getting worst. SO I had a appointment today with the Dr. and again she cancelled . This Vet Just does not care. seems like the New One DR Caldwell is the same. You can not call me 3 hours before my appointment after you saw other pets all day long. She did not want to stay late as my appointment was @ 6 pm. This came from the office gal. At least one of them are honest. Please do not let your Fur babies go here. what once was a very sweet kind TRUSTING DR. is NO more. I will never go here again. risking my dogs well being.

DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!
If you have an emergency, forget it! My dog had an emergency and needed seen on a Friday. The vet told me their schedule is full and I could be seen on Monday or take them to Cheat Lake Animal Hospital emergency vet. New Stanton vet should see their own clients when they have an emergency. Due to this, I will move all 8 of my pets to a new office. Also, they don't have weekend hours or many weekday evening hours. The vet isn't very thorough, overall, just not happy with this vet at all.
