The older cleaning lady they have working here needs to be fired think her name is Kathy! The ladies locker room smells 80% of the time I go In there. She never wears gloves I saw her a few times dig in trash for cans sit them down and not wash her hands. Just so much I've seen! So our family left the new Kensington YMCA for good!

Watch out signing their membership agreements. I signed for my daughter, but forgot to stop the membership because of the pandemic and cyber school, then we moved. They did not want to refund the two years she was not in the after school program, and their email response to me was rather cold about it. They come across as greedy. Their after school program was unruly and of poor quality as is their facility. They know nothing of true Christian principles.

This review is based on the New Ken location. Not much to do at this location. It's old and is in need of many many updates! We use the Natrona Heights location ..much cleaner, pool is great ! We use it a ton in the winter. Nice basketball courts also.

The New Kensington YMCA is so outdated. The machines are old, the rooms are small and it just needs to be renovated and brought into the 21st century. The programs offered are okay, but it is the only YMCA in New Kensington so your options are limited.

I love going to the Y because there are so many things to do here. You can swim, workout, sit in the sauna, attend exercise classes, and more. If you have children, they can get involved in sports and lessons for certain things as well when they offer it. They also provide childcare at certain times of the day, which is very convenient for the mommies and daddies. I don't like that they charge you for your children to take lessons or participate in team sports even if you are a member. They also have several events that are fun to attend with your family and friends, whether it be holiday events or community events. They've pretty much got it all.
