1730 Golden Mile Hwy, Monroeville“The service women were incredibly nice. My friend had to furnish her whole 1 bedroom apt. She is 75 and really on a restricted income. She got a beautiful purple stains looked new for $79, a like new bed frame, box spring, and a mattress for an extremely decent price and lots of lamps and tables, as well as a purple living room chairs that perfectly matched the couch. We found all the linens, blankets, rugs, etc. at the Red White and Blue on Rt 51. Also, because my friend bout so much, she now has free stuff to get with her St. Vincent De Paul's thrift store! Can't beat $180 to furnish your whole apartment. It was $90 to get delivered, but if you have someone to move it cheaper you can do that!”
“Reasonable selection, but not super extensive. For instance, they have men's dress shirts, but no blazers. They have kitchen supplies, but mostly ceramic/glass (minimal plastic plates/cups). So, nothing to complain about for a second hand store but also not exceptional.”
“I mainly went to look for decor (I collect bird&waterfowl decor/antiques) &my gram who doesn't drive wanted me to see if they had any bookshelves. They hardly had any furniture or shelving currently...I know usually it sells the day it is donated if they put it out, so I wasn't holding my breath for the bookshelf. However, I did find a very pretty collectors tin w/birds on it and 2 pair of denim. They don't have as much to pick from in the "small" sizes in the denim. The goodwill a few exits north has a bit more. They seemed to have more large sizes donated than smalls at the current time. Hollister &Banana Republic were the 2 I found&chose to buy. The "color of the wk" is blue so I got the Banana Republic pair half off. Very nice staff and seemed very knowledgeable. I also overheard them asking the customers if they needed help with anything while I was shopping. That is always a good thing when your in a store where there is a vast amount of different inventory daily. The quicker you find what you are possibly looking for (if it doesn't find u first) the better for you and the staff. Everyone wants to be on their way (if your the customer)&or get on with their day?. It was a good experience. No long long lines either. Which was a change compared to most stores. They definitely need some donations though (im not speaking for them; its just an educated guess). So if you want to get rid of some stuff they probably need it, so maybe donate it at the Cheswick location?❣”
“Update 2-29-24: Very impressed with how organized this store became since my last time here.Review update: Still very good. I've raised my rating because the rate at which new stock is set out, lately, is better than I've ever seen at any other Goodwill store. I rarely see the same things two visits in a row. The employees really seem to be working hard, and the end cap displays they make always look cute.Original review: Pretty decent Goodwill. Fairly clean, though I have noticed a few items on shelves with cobwebs; not too big a deal. Employees are nice and always working hard.”
“Great place for used building materials and second hand furniture. They also have lighting fixtures, a large selection of wood, paint, used hardware, toilets, bathtubs and more.”
