I ordered one bag of Scott's Step 2 lawn fertilizer through Amazon and the order was filled by New Kensington Busy Beaver even though there's one only two miles from where I live. They sent me two bags as two separate orders and are billing me twice. Moreover, they expect me to drive 30 or 40 miles roundtrip to return the one bag I didn't order. I'm only paying for the ONE bag I ordered and I'm not spending a half day driving across the County to return the other bag I didn't order. Amazon shows one order for one bag, I don't understand how it turned into two orders for two bags?

The hardware department is great. They have a better selection than the bigger box stores. Lawn and garden is also well-stocked and there are more items to choose from. Always helpful associates.

To be honest the management is most of the drawbacks of coming here. There is a blonde lady with glasses who will look at you like a dumb beaver if you have any questions about anything. She is literally the beaver mascot but she is never busy

2.99 for a single, plastic, paint liner tray is almost unbelievable. I’m really going to stop coming here altogether and just rely 100% on online retailer or other big box stores. These trays are sold at other hardware stores in 10 packs for like 2 dollars more. My perception is that items are priced based on how much people might need them in a “quick run to the store” situation. Wouldn’t you feel better selling products that are a value to customers rather than using downright exploitative pricing.

New Kensington: Worst costumer care I've ever seen rudly brushed me off claiming that they didn't "think" they had the product available I checked online and called back because the website says it is available at that location the operator rudly cut me off saying she would transfer me and left me on hold for 30 minutes I'm sorry to say but it's really fallen apart

This place has gone so far down hill! The employees are rude and hard to deal with especially the blonde girl. Prices are way to high! Lumber here is a joke! You can’t find one straight un chewed 2x4 in the whole place. Then they try to charge for top grade lumber! I will never return! They have lost so much business and a lot of it is because of the rude staff.

I’m so sick of this place. Every time I come in almost ALL THE ASSOCIATES ARE RUDE!!!!! From cashiers to people in departments. The ONLY GUY WORTH TALKING TO is that big dude with the beard and tattoos he actually talks to me and treats me like a HUMAN guys always nice everyone else is a waste of time!

This location is great. If you need hardware material quickly it's centrally located in the town in new Kensington. The staff is always friendly and helpful. however, the staff changes pretty frequently. Also, just the tip. If you have to get keys cut, maybe consider a different location or someone you know is experience there. I often have to come back and get them re-cut.
