I stayed at the River House in June but my review is about the restaurant. It is a beautiful room with views of the Delaware River.
However the service was awful. Our waitress disappeared after serving us our drinks. We waited and wondered where our food was. Finally everything was served at once making the entrees cold. A waiter stopped to say that the waitress had an emergency and I had to get up twice to get the manager. She agreed to give us a free meal minus the drinks! This soured our impression of the entire place. We often come to New Hope from Center City and were very disappointed by our treatment. Planned to have breakfast at the hotel the following day but just left. Someone from management should have reached out to us.

Fancy boomer food (e.g. soggy calamari and overpriced steaks). Plenty of better restaurants in the area.

Was at Riverhouse Roof yesterday & really enjoyed their Clambake, but what made it so extra special was Sam Ryan's live music! Hopefully Sam will return and looking forward to it!

Dining review only… We came for lunch. The views were beautiful and the dining area was so nice. Staff were attentive and friendly. Valet parking is free. We ordered apps to desserts and some were better than others. At this price point I expect everything to be wonderful. We started with the 6 oysters and chopped wedge salad. Both were good. For entrees we had the filet tip sandwich and crab cake. The filet while tasty was mostly roll. For $34 it should have been packed with filet, very disappointing. The crab cake was thick and perfectly cooked. For dessert we had the special, a strawberry cake and their brownie Sunday. Both were excellent. The cocktails were well made as well. Total check was $186. I’ve had better for much cheaper but the views and setting were very nice.

I can only speak to the restaurant as I did not stay in the hotel. Odette's food was delicious and prepared exactly as requested. My steak, salad and spinach side was just enough and dessert was great as well. Nikki, our server, made great recommendations and was very attentive and thorough. I'll definitely go back.

One star for the decor and one for the server ( she was extremely nice). Very disappointed with food and wait time ( around 40 min) for avocado toast which wasn’t good at all ( soaked and gummy, didn’t seem like toasted at all). Definitely not going back there to eat.

We had lunch at Odette’s. Everything was perfect, from the (free during the week) valet parking, to service (thank you Bella. Great service), to the food and the view. We will definitely be back.
