Pet Grooming
New Hope Pet Grooming
115 S Main St, New HopeMy boarder collie Wisp has MUO and needed a special appointment where other doggos wouldn’t be there. They were very accommodating and set us up with an after hours slot. They treated her so well and you could tell she had a good time.
As for the grooming they obviously did a great job! They were sensitive to her needs and the job they did held up very well.
The prices seemed reasonable for the quality and the extra service fee for her wasn’t steep.
I will recommend and use again.

Pet Care
Buckingham Valley Veterinary Center
2137 Durham Rd, New HopeThis is the best vet, by far, that we have ever been to. We have 6 rescues and the staff treats them all with such great compassion and care. Our primary doctor is Dr. Becker and she is AMAZING! Kind, compassionate, knowledgeable, and sweet. When calling to make an appointment or ask a question, the staff on the phone are always so nice and very helpful. When we we are there for our appointments everyone makes us, and especially our fur babies feel at ease. They are all so personable. I have met all the doctors at different times when Dr. Becker wasn't available and every single one has a kind and warm approach and is so knowledgeable that you always feel your pups are in great hands. Last year was a tough one. We lost our sweet greyhound Lily and Dr. Hackanin was a gem. She was there when we needed to let Lily go and made the very sad situation more bearable. 3 months later we had to let our other greyhound Oliver (who was our sweet old soul) go. Dr. Becker was there for us and it meant so much. Two of the amazing staff members Jennifer and Meaghan made it a point to take time out to come and offer kind words during these very sad times. That meant so much. They have 2 offices which makes it very convenient to schedule appointments. We have been to several vets in the area and no one comes close to being like this wonderful practice. They are an amazing group of people, both doctors and staff, so dedicated to their clients and their fur babies. We are so grateful to them for every visit and appreciate every member of the team!

The Cub Room

The Burgerly
137 S Main St, New HopeFun burger joint at the south end of town with a customizable menu. Small but tasty sit down place with eclectic music decor. Ordering was via kiosk and burgers were customizable with a nice variety of toppings. The fries were top notch and the burgers were high quality. They came cooked as ordered and there is brown paper on the table to catch any spills.

Nina's Waffles
18 Street Rd, New HopeI could write a book about how much I love Nina’s. When we first discovered it, we loved it so much that we were making the long trip to Peddlers Village almost weekly. We don’t get to visit as often anymore, but it’s a special day when we do. The smell of fresh waffles hits you in the face when you walk in the door. Every flavor is incredible. We’ve visited multiple Nina’s locations but love the Peddlers Village location the best.

Nina's Waffles
110 S Main St, New HopeI was blown away by Nina's and they're authentic Belgian waffles made with dough, not batter. This is a huge deal coming from a person who grew up in the ice cream business. The owner is from Belgium, they make the dough daily and it includes sugar that doesn't burn but caramelizes into the waffle. The results is the best waffles I've ever eaten! You need to experience this place. The ice cream was great don't get me wrong, but the uniqueness of the waffles sets them apart. It should be highlighted and underlined on their sign! Staff was super nice and attentive. This place is located in quiet And beautiful area.

Bowman's Tavern
1600 River Rd, New HopeMy boyfriend and I had a long day going through pa and on our way back to New Jersey we wanted some grub. Stopped to this lovely little place and WOW our expectations were blown out of the water. We had the 8 ounce filet, tender, flavorful, cooked to perfection. For mashed potatoes and green beans to come with it, it was a great price for a filling delicious meal. Our server Denise was so accommodating, always checking on us. She took care of us, and really elevated our experience. Then VALET, god was David a gem. You can tell this man wants to deliver the best service he can and it shines through, before we took 2 steps out of the door he was running to grab our car, he’s a lovely guy. Customer service & food = 10/10. We will be coming back every time we’re in Pennsylvania. Thank you Bowman’s!

The Salt House
7 E Ferry St, New HopeGreat atmosphere - feels very cozy with a big fireplace on the first floor. Feels very much like a restaurant built into a Colonial building.
American food - prepared very well. Definitely a place to return to

Martine's RiverHouse Restaurant
14 E Ferry St, New HopeThis is a nice river view restaurant with good food! We had an amazing lunch here. We ordered the cozy autumn soup, crab cake sandwich, lobster roll, and burger. The soup was surprisingly good, and the crab cake sandwich was the best I’ve ever had. The lobster roll was just okay, but everything else made up for it.
It was a great experience overall, but one thing to note is that they don’t have cups for kids. They serve water in glass jars, which isn’t ideal for little ones.
Still, we enjoyed our visit and would recommend it for the food and the lovely view.

Earl's New American
2400 Street Rd, New HopeThe short rib was a good size portion but was tough and fibrous.. like a chuck roast. The overall atmosphere is basically upper-crusty casual. No music when I was there on Friday. Total bill was $165 after tip, two appetizers, entres, and drinks.. and we didn't even get dessert.
Kid-friendliness: Kids are allowed, but it's more of an adult menu and environment.
Wheelchair accessibility: Bathroom is up a flight of stairs. Not sure if there's another bathroom on the ground floor.

Triumph Restaurant & Brewery
400 Union Square Dr, New HopeStopped in for the first time for a late lunch while visiting the area on Black Friday. The entire area was crowded for the holiday, but were able to be seated right away. Service was fast and friendly, and the food was delicious. My only complaint was the music was a little loud, making it difficult to have a conversation. And it was kind of 70s rock; not really enjoyable dinner music. We weren’t in the bar, so it could have been toned down a bit. But overall it was an enjoyable meal, and one of the best burgers I’ve had. My friend got the fish and chips and loved it. And kudos to having Coke and not Pepsi?

Bucks County SPCA
1665 Street Rd, New HopeI took my cat to be euthanized yesterday. She was old and many issues. I took her to the spca for the cost (let's be honest, I do not make much money and already spent $500 on vet bills to be told there is nothing they could do for her). The woman at the front desk was wonderful. I can't remember her name. She was warm, kind, sympathetic. They gave me a place to be alone while I waited. We did not cremate her, but brought her back for burial. she brought her back after and had her wrapped up in a blanket in her carrier because "cats like it warm and cozy". not a review I would like to write, but they were very respectful. Thank you.
