I have taken my car to Melson's for many years to get it inspected. I cannot find the words to Express how highly I think of Melson's and especially Tony!! He goes out of his way to be professional and accommodating. I also know that I can trust them. If they say my car needs something I immediately agree to the work since I know they are expert at what they do and work hard to earn the customer's trust and dedication. I promise you they are the very best at what they do!

I was in this place for a few days, I needed to rent equipment for a move. The staff is very friendly and helpful. As a business owner, I have a very good impression of this place. I recommend it 100%. Thank you very much for your help.

I "luckily" got a flat tire a block away from melsons which is how I wound up here. Guy behind the counter was very dry but besides that it was a decent experience. I checked prices online to get an idea if I was getting screwed before getting there but their price was pretty fair compared to online prices for the same tire. Got my tire installed and balanced and also had my wheels rotated since I was there. When my car is up for inspection I'll probably stop in to melsons.

Brought it in for a broken AC, they replaced the part, and it was working for about a month. Brought it back in and was lied to that my system was leaking (which I knew was incorrect), but I was a their mercy at that time. Brough my car to the dealer, who confirmed their part had failed, and that that was all that was wrong with the system (at my cost). Brought it back to Melson's and they said that they would not work on my car again, and my warranty was not valid, and they refunded me the cost of the part. I am now sitting with their labor cost, the cost of the dealer diagnostic, and still broken AC. I would consider them to be a very unethical shop, and would never take a car there again.

I went there for vehicle registration and tag. They couldn't complete the task, because their system wouldn't accept my car's mileage (!). They said they would call me back to complete registration another day. They never did. I took my business elsewhere. Done and done in 15 minutes.

Melson's is a rare family owned car repair, U-Haul Dealer and Tax and Tags business. I've used them for all of these services for over 20 years and never been disappointed. Trustworthy, friendly and fairly priced.

An act of kindness that isn't going unrecognized or unappreciated! I drove into Melson Service because the gas station down the street refused to help me with my dangerously flat tire. I came inside Melson's to get change to use their air service.Tony went into action to help me instead of letting me pay and take care of it myself. He not only checked and filled my one flat tire, but took care of all my tires (which I didn't realized also needed some air). Though I haven't used Melson's before, today's act of kindness will make me a client. Thank you, Tony!

My family has used Melson's for years and they have always been great. Recently, I needed my gear shift fixed. Melson's was prompt and I had my car back to normal and running in 48 hours. Cannot thank them enough!

Rude and only care about your money. Safety is not their first concern.Asked to have my tires rotated, since they couldn't replace them that day, I wanted the better tires on the front given all the snow. The lady yelled and kept cutting me off saying the car was out of the bay and that she did not have time to rotate the tires. From the time I made the appointment until I picked up my car they were short and rude. When I picked my car up it had a soggy paper floor mat that had partially broken into hundreds of pieces. Also their lot was pretty empty and the bays had no cars at 3 o clock. Needless to say it would appear they had more time to do a simple tire rotation. I'm not saying I didn't need or want new tires, all I wanted was the better tires on my driving and steering wheels like I asked.

New to town. I needed an oil change and my husband was away on business so I needed a garage within walking distance. I don’t know a nut from a bolt and get sick and nervous talking to people I don’t know, especially men about cars. They were definitely busy when I showed up. There were 3 mechanics working on cars. I had my car back within 2 hours. There was a nice man and woman behind the desk when I paid what I thought was reasonable. What got me was the picture memorial to the original owner who passed away. I (or hopefully my husband) will be returning for routine car maintenance. I love supporting a hard working family business.
