My husband purchased a pair of Tiffany schlumberget earrings from Katy Kane thru the 1st dibs site. They were delivered to his office K on Friday dec 12th. He had already left the office for a Christmas event. He received the earrings on Monday and I saw them on Monday evening. I was shocked. They were sent in s dirty Tiffany pouch and they were quite damaged. I immediately called Katy Kane and asked to return them. She said no returns after 24 hours! I began to explain the fact that we didn't receive them until Monday she hung up on me.
I went immediately to Tiffany's and spoke with customer service who documented the extensive damage.
I then appealed to 1stdibs who at first said they had to honor the sellers return policy.
I shipped the earrings back to 1stdibs and then appealed to the assistant of the CEO .
They refunded the purchase !
Istdibs is a reputable site but Katy Kane is not!
