Hotel Du Village "BEST Wedding Venue by far" "Spectacular"Dear HDV Team,We want to express our deepest gratitude for providing us with the most spectacular wedding venue. From the breathtaking grounds and beautiful gardens to the exquisite ballroom, Incredible food, unique bar, every detail was nothing short of perfection.Your staff truly went above and beyond, making every second of our special day absolutely magical. The level of professionalism, kindness, and accommodation we experienced exceeded our expectations in every way. Heather (wedding planner) made sure everything was perfect from start to finish and without a doubt contributed to making this day extra special. She exceeded my expectations as far as a wedding planner goes and she helped to ease my nerves on such an overwhelming yet exciting day. She was professional, organized, caring and calming and my bridal attendant, Irene, was just the same. Irene was by my side the entire day / evening and truly saved the day with my dress bustling debacle. She managed to make a miracle happen with safety pins and helped me make it to the reception just as the introductions occurred. And without a doubt, Clovis, who was the man in charge behind the scenes, was amazing. He has an infectious personality with a heart of gold and he took care of everyone the entire evening. By the end of the day, it felt like we were not just clients but part of a warm and welcoming family.Thank you for turning our wedding dreams into reality. Your dedication and attention to detail made our day truly unforgettable. We will cherish the memories created in your stunning venue for a lifetime.P.S. The afterparty was just as fun as the reception and we loved relaxing by the fire pits at the hotel lobby. The smores were a hit too and my guests didn't want to leave? Oh and gals the bridal suite is breathtaking? With heartfelt thanks and much love,Jason & Jennifer PezzutiJuly 23, 2023????

Our studio had the pleasure to capture a beautiful wedding at this venue in October. The staff was very helpful, food was delicious, and the wedding was amazing! Cannot wait to go back!

The pricing is actually insane for what’s offered in a package. My mom called and the woman who spoke to her was extremely rude, not pleasant what so ever for the business of customer service (believe this was Mary). My mom asked valid wedding questions as she was scolded and basically casually mocked. When asked if she could receive pricing, the woman stated she would email and never followed up. Not helpful what so ever. For off season you’re still paying about 200-220 a plate, with essentially nothint but a cake in your package. Heard food is cold sadly also. Wouldn’t recommend this venue, booked elsewhere in south Jersey and so excited!

My husband and I were married New Years Eve of 2023 & it was truly incredible. The attention to detail and everyone’s tireless hard work (Heather, Agnes, Irene etc) to make the weekend a tremendous success did not go unnoticed. What a spectacular evening! We appreciate all of the organization from Heather, who made the entire process seamless from start to finish. And the venue itself is gorgeous, especially during the holiday season. I am trying to find an excuse for another event to be held there! We received numerous compliments from our guests re: the service and the food, an event we will never forget!

I loved the grounds with the immaculate garden and greenery areas and planned to get married here. However needed to cancel the wedding. Before booking staff were helpful, once wedding was booked barely could get questions answers or help when I was planning the wedding from the venue. I made two payments toward the wedding and had to cancel it. The staff refused to give any money back, even though it's basically a year out till the wedding and actually demanded more. This was unexpected of a cancellation and the coordinator was not helpful or understanding during a very challenging time. I loved the venue and wished that they were more thoughtful about the brides and those who are paying top dollar there.

My niece's wedding was held here late Oct 2023. Everything was perfect and the staff was amazing. We had a time! Beautiful atmosphere. 10/10 recommend.Food & drinks: Delicious dinner and overflowing drinks. I could cut my filet with a butter knife and the hors d'oeuvres were different but great.

Hotel looks gorgeous, however when I called to inquire about booking an event and getting information to stay, Mary returned my call and left a very short tempered and impatient message on my voicemail.Obviously, they don’t need any additional business and Mary needs a lesson in customer service. Good luck and beware.

Beautiful hotel and event space, just outside of the main New Hope village area. The grounds are immaculate - flowers, fountains, trees, the creek - all of it gorgeous. I’ve been to Hotel Du Village for a work party and will be visiting again later this year for a wedding, and based on past experience I’m very much looking forward to returning. Beyond the way they setup the spaces, the food and drinks are excellent. Lots of different options for both food and beverages, all very good. Finally the staff are very friendly and helpful. All in all, Hotel Du Village is a gem and I definitely recommend checking it out for a wedding or similar event.

Wedding was elegant and service for cocktail hour and dinner was stellar! However: Accessibility note(!) — there are are huge flight of stairs leading down to the bathroom in the reception/cocktail area that were very slippery/dangerous!Our bed was very wobbly…Had a few repairs needed in our room, the lamp was broken and the add on purchases (snacks etc) in the room were already opened when we arrived. I wrote immediately to the mgmt and they did not respond to my concerns. The bathroom and shower (in nearly all of the rooms) were not very discrete — caution for those sharing rooms with friends etc. For the cost and experience of a boutique hotel, I would think these issues would have been proactively addressed. The hotel’s fire alarms went off early in the morning and woke everyone up bc someone had steamed up their bathroom.Grounds were beautifully manicured. The ballroom was awesome. The ceremony area was beautiful.Close to peddlers village !!! So cool check it out.

Hotel du Village is a really unique wedding venue, I photographed Jillian and Will's wedding there the day of a hurricane and thankfully we were far enough from the center that we only experienced light rain at times, but the staff was willing to make an outdoor wedding work since Jillian had her heart set on that.

Just an amazing facility. We filmed a family members wedding here. The grounds as well as the hiatorical indoor venue is something to see. A must visit place before deciding on your choice for your wedding day. (HTV Media, Hackettstown NJ)

I stayed here recently for a wedding. The event spaces are beautiful and the staff were all very professional and helpful. It was a lovely wedding. But the water broke and went off in the entire main hotel building including all guest rooms on Sunday morning. Like, all of the water - you couldn't flush a toilet or wash your hands or take a shower after a night of partying. For hours. When we left at 10am the water had kind of somewhat returned, but the pressure was low, it was discolored, and it didn't seem clear whether even that would last. From reading other reviews it is clear this is a chronic long-term issue and regularly happens. I just want to say that an entirely reliable water supply is an essential precondition to operate a hotel. There's really no way you can have a good experience at a hotel without water. The hotel staff acted like this was a minor inconvenience - like running out of cereal at breakfast or something - which was bewildering but perhaps a coping mechanism. Hotel Du Village, I really hope you will consider shutting everything down and making whatever serious repairs or upgrades are needed so that you can have an entirely reliable and 100% functional water system. Lastly just noting that the physical layout of the rooms was poor and made the lack of water especially brutal. There's no door between the shower & sink area and the bedroom, and the area with the toilet had no fan and a slatted door. Sounds and smells travel freely between the toilet area and the bed area. All the more reason you really, really need to have confidence when you flush your toilet.

This review is solely in response to a wedding venue tour given by Mary Ellen. Mary Ellen is reason I was completely turned off to the gorgeous grounds of Hotel Du Village. First of all, this woman was 20 minutes late to our tour time with no communication, no apologies made, and no pleasantries exchanged - I had driven over an hour to be there and there was a complete lack of respect for my time. I seriously have never encountered such a lack of hospitality from a person. Our tour was completely rushed, she made me feel foolish for asking questions, and also complained about their day of bride in front of me. When it came to cost breakdown, there was a complete lack of transparency, where again, I was made to feel foolish to ask how numbers were come to. If you want to be expected to pay around $60,000, but also insulted - work with Mary Ellen. I can’t imagine she’s a full representation of the Landmark operation, but this experience was shrouded in distaste and unawareness that it was downright embarrassing and a complete waste of time.
