The service and location are incredible. Kelly, Trish, and Cathy are all just amazing. They are so nice and accommodating. It is a 3 star B&B that is in an older establishment so expectations need to be set appropriately. It’s going to have a smaller shower and older. However it is very clean and located walking distance to everything. You can leave your car at the B&B and just walk and not fight for parking. My husband and I stayed for 6 nights and just loved it. We both have special dietary needs. And they came up with an amazing array of vegan breakfast for me and non-dairy options for my husband that were delicious. Highly recommend a stay at the Fox and the hound..

The Fox and Hound B&B is amazing!!! Super picturesque decoration, delicious breakfast, cozy room, strategically located near New Hope center (but not too near). And the hosts were amazing, shout out to Kathy for her recommendation to visit Ground for Sculptures in Trenton. Everyone was very kind and provided great advice on places to visit. Would definitely stay again and highly recommend to others. Thanks!!!

We hopped into New Hope for a Friday and Saturday stay. From the moment we arrived, we were happy we chose the Fox and Hound B&B. Kelly welcomed us, sat with us in the "living room" and made some recommendations. She also gave us an overview of the Inn and took our breakfast reservation. We opted to get our breakfast at 10am. They delivered it on a tray outside of our room. The weather was beautiful, so we opted to eat on our patio rather than in the dining room. We did this both days. The breakfast was really good. It was a crustless veggie quiche and it was so good! It came with fruit and a slice of sweet breakfast bread and toast. Breakfast on Sunday was a blueberry breakfast bread with syrup, fruit and bacon. Our room was clean and well-appointed. It looked like a quaint country B&B.We never travel without earplugs, so noise was not an issue. As with most B&B's, this is an older home. As such, floors squeak and voices can carry. Your room is not soundproof. I recommend earplugs if this is a concern for you. I used mine, and slept like a baby.We walked into town. It took us about 10 minutes. If walking uphill is a concern, you may want to Uber the trip home, or take your car and park in a lot off Main Street. We will be back!Jack

Great location! 10 minute walk to New Hope and not much further into Lambertville. We had a great time at the Fox and Hound and the breakfast was delicious! Lisa was very nice and accommodating. Highly recommended.

Just enjoyed an evening with my partner here and was blown away. The building and grounds are picturesque, as if lifted from a Victorian novel and dropped in a tiny PA town. Less than a mile from New Hope, it's close enough to walk comfortably and far enough to not have the traffic and cluster of the town. The interior was beautiful, with ornate furniture and accents. The room was lovely as well. The four post bed took up much of the room, but it was more than comfortable. The private bathroom was well stocked and met our needs perfectly as well. Lisa, one of the owners, greeted us to check in and offered her wealth of information on New Hope and its available entertainments. She was incredibly sweet and accommodating, remembering each guest's name the next morning at breakfast. The breakfast, which was included, was delicious as well. The dining room was gorgeous with wonderful lighting and beautiful decoration. Coffee and a full assortment of teas were available as well.Honestly, one night was too brief to really enjoy the place properly. I'm looking forward to my next stay there to really take advantage of the place.Rooms: Small but not cramped. Bed was very comfortable.Nearby activities: Restaurants, boutique shops, bars, theater, walking paths in nearby New Hope and Lambertville less than a half mile away.Safety: Front door locks automatically, opened with issued room key. Grounds are open and spacious.Walkability: Closest restaurant is less than a 10 minute walk at an easy pace. New Hope is easily walkable to reach all major attractions.Food & drinks: Two "dive" bars, several upscale bar and restaurants, sushi, Indian, Italian, steakhouse, pizza, ice cream. Fully vegan restaurants as well. Most every taste can be accommodated.

My partner and I had an wonderful time here! Lisa met us when we arrived and recommended restaurants and attractions in the area. She was very sweet. Our room was lovely and we were able to relax and unwind. In the morning they served Frittatas with fruit and orange juice. Everything was delicious and we were stuffed after finishing our plates. The breakfast area was brightly lit and very cozy. We will absolutely be coming back for another stay. Thank you so much for your hospitality and making our time here so memorable!

Excellent atmosphere and service. A perfect blend of traditional b&b with modern amenities.Service was outstanding. Kathy made us feel welcome and had coffee and cookies available for us. The breakfast was very tasty and everything was fresh. Our room was very clean and comfortable with fireplace for atmosphere, A/C, Smart TV. It was very nice after walking all day to kick back and relax in the room. The location is a short walking distance to New Hope. It was so nice to leave the car and not deal with finding parking downtown. We had an amazing weekend and definitely comeback again. Highly recommended!

I loved the location. Room was very clean. On another note, the AC thermostat did not have a switch to turn it on. Moreover when I went to take a shower there was only lukewarm water. I probably should have contacted the host about all this, but decided against it because we were there only one night.Walkability: Easy walk into New Hope and Lambertville.

Wonderful bed & breakfast and can’t wait to visit again! Literally booked our stay the morning of and within a couple of hours, Kathy had sent a listing of restaurants in the area. We didn’t expect to be able to check in until 3 or 4pm, but received a text much sooner that our room was ready for us! Kathy was such a delight, sharing tons of info about the area and antique places to check out! And her cooking…sinfully delicious! We stayed in the lavender fields room, very clean, cozy and comfortable!

We stayed here for two nights for our anniversary weekend in February of 2023. Enjoyed the weekend very much. Service was excellent and liked the breakfast both mornings. Location was also convenient to New Hope area activities. Definitely would recommend staying here if planning a trip to New Hope.

Overall a disappointing experience for a one night getaway with my husband. The decor is outdated and drab, our garden room and bathroom were both very small, with no counter space to even set a toiletry bag. Double size bed was very uncomfortable with flat pillows.Coffee, promised at 6:30 am, was not ready until closer to 7:30 am. The breakfast, a tasteless quiche that more closely resembled soggy bread, was accompanied by toast and an orange slice. For the price we paid, the inn vastly disappointed and we would not recommend a stay there to others.

First time staying here and it was really nice. The whole place is adorably decorated with a vintage feel. The breakfast we were served was delicious! And on top of that Cathy (front desk person) was insanely nice and knowledgeable about New Hope and the surrounding areas. I would stay here

The property exterior is stunning. The building is truly charming with so much history and character. However, we really did not have a positive experience. Our room was not very clean-- it was dusty, smelled stale, and the tile needed a good cleaning in the bathroom.Everything was also very dated-- late 80s and early 1990s style faux flowers, for example, and other really outdated decorating.Things also seemed to be falling apart. For example, the toilet paper holder on the wall kept falling off and the heating system had some kinks. One of the blinds was broken. For a bed and breakfast, we are also accustomed to friendly and outgoing innkeepers and a nice big breakfast. Unfortunately, on our first morning, I went downstairs during the posted breakfast hours and sat for almost 20 minutes waiting. No one arrived to ask if I would like breakfast and no one was at the desk in the rear.I ended up grabbing coffee and a granola bar to take back to my room. The inn was lovely-- on the surface. However, I would not choose to stay there again. We've been to Olivia's and the Logan Inn nearby and both are far superior.

It was our first visit here and we were very pleased with the outstanding service, food, and attention to detail. The staff prepared special breakfasts for my husband who has dietary restrictions. We enjoyed the company of the other guests and highly recommend Fox and Hound to other guests seeking a charming retreat.
