If you are looking for a cozy and relaxing getaway with attentive hosts and plenty of good food and board games, then this is the place for you. We love the quiet location and the fact that it's not too far a drive into Lancaster. The rooms are comfortable and each are uniquely themed which adds fun to the stay. The hosts are incredible and take the time to get to know you (and if you're a repeat visitor, they remember your favorite food/meals from your previous stay which is a nice touch). It's a charming and wonderful place and we very highly recommend staying here. We love visiting and plan on returning many more times.Rooms: The rooms are clean and cozy, making them feel warm and homey. They also include privacy curtains and come fully stocked with everything you might need--right down to small cups to rinse with and bubble bath packs for the jacuzzi tubs. There is also a plethora of games available in the main dining area to play if you want a lowkey staycation away from home.Food & drinks: The food here is INCREDIBLE, we've stayed here twice and not one single food item was anything less than excellent. On top of being fully vegetarian, the food is always delicious and really well balanced. But, our favorite part of the food, is the baked goods--Thomas is an incredible baker and everything we ate was scrumptious.Noteworthy details: One of the things that really puts this place over the top is all the small details. Here are a few of our favorite:- Fresh baked homemade cookies in the common area every afternoon -- different flavors each day- The option for an ornament exchange where you can bring an ornament that represents you and get a Country Hearth ornament in return- Room journals where you can leave a note about your stay for Thomas & James and future guests of your room- If you're a returning guest and leave any favorite food items from your previous stay in your booking notes they will absolutely try their best to have it for you- There's canned & bottled drinks, tea & coffee, candy, other supplies you may need, and brochures for local food and excursions in the common areas to make sure your stay is extra comfortable- There's a separate binder with everything that's open on Sundays- The suite has a fireplace with rocking chairs for a cozy night by the fireAnd so many more--these are just are favorite!

I spent two lovely nights in the Cherub room and could not have been happier. Thomas & James were wonderful host and the morning breakfast is something to look forward to. And the scones, orange/cranberry and to die for. I won't hesitate to visit with Thomas & James again. 5 Stars!

The house felt like a home away from home during the weekend my husband and I stayed there. The hosts were lovely, and we enjoyed sitting in the common area playing several of the many board games they have. We're looking forward to the day when Thomas and James release a cookbook, because all the food was absolutely delicious. Even though it's been weeks since our stay, we still think about how good (and filling!) the food was.

My friend and I were staying at Country Hearth for a few days, and we enjoyed the our time there very much. The room was comfortable and clean. Thomas and James are excellent hosts, making sure to accommodate our dietary restrictions. The breakfasts are vegetarian but you can ask for vegan as well, and the meals are delicious. I highly recommend your stay here. Thank you again for such a wonderful time.Nearby activities: There are great opportunities to see Amish country and take a tour and buggy ride. Downtown Lancaster is a 30 minute drive away, and there is plenty to see there.

Excellent service, excellent accommodations! The cherub room was super cozy without being the least bit cramped. The location was perfect for me as it was near most all of the shops and events on my list to visit. The breakfast was absolutely delicious! The entire b/b was very inviting and the host made me feel very welcome. I will most definitely be staying at Country Hearth Bed & Breakfast when I visit the area later this year!

Highly recommended B&B. My third wonderful stay in the Celestial Gardens suite. Beautiful decor and updated amenities. Breakfast and homemade snacks are top notch. James and Thomas both helpful and knowledgeable on what to do and where to eat in the area. I will be back again.

Cute old house, very charming, cozy, & clean. Convenient location - able to walk to shops & restaurants, short drive from Lititz & Lancaster. The innkeepers were so nice & friendly, very polite. 3 course breakfast - unique, fresh, changes every day, local ingredients.

So happy that the Country Hearth is back! Thomas and James have breathed new life into this quaint beautiful B&B in New Holland, PA. The best way to describe the vibe is cozy, warm and welcoming. Our breakfast each day was delicious and the attention to detail was second to none. You can expect a few little surprises during your stay as well. We can not wait to book our next stay at this lovely getaway and spend some relaxing time in the beautiful Amish community. ❤️

Beautifully decorated rooms and common area. Friendly host. Plenty of things close by to do. Breakfasts are three courses and fantastic ( no need for lunch). Afternoon fresh baked cookies are a real treat. Street by B&B has a lot of traffic. Off street parking is available. Traffic noise continued at night, but did not bother our sleep (hosts have ear plugs available). Left with a goodie bag - extra bonus of staying here.

We had a great stay here. The house is really nicely kept, as was our room. Breakfasts were varied, well planned and delicious. Thomas and James were great hosts and full of valuable information regarding the area. The price was fair and the house was centrally located to just about anywhere in Amish country. We really look forward to staying here again. Thank you guys!

The Country Hearth Bed and Breakfast exceeded our expectations. It's conveniently located right in the heart of all the popular attractions. Our friendly innkeepers, Thomas and James went above and beyond to make our stay a memorable one. Their gracious hospitality was like no other bed and breakfasts we've been to in the Lancaster area. There were freshly baked cookies waiting for us when you first walked in, which was a nice added touch. They were very accommodating to our needs by arranging a gift basket in our room for my husband and providing a goodie bag that we could take when we left. After reading the many positive reviews, we were looking forward to the delicious breakfasts that we read about. And they did not disappoint. Every morning we were served freshly baked scones, juice and hot coffee. The entrees were different than what we ever had before and were all delicious. We will definitely return again and would highly recommend the Country Hearth Bed and Breakfast for anyone visiting the Lancaster area.
