Kevin and Chris are great! On Friday I got a flat tire right near their shop. It was just after 6pm and they closed BUT they still came outside and changed my tire for me and gave me some really good advice and recommendations. It is so nice to find good, honest and knowledgeable people you can count on. They just gained a new customer :-)Service: Tires

I made an appointment over 2 weeks ago for an alignment and oil change. When I showed up for my appointment, after hearing I need to wait for my vehicle, the rude guy tells me they are running behind. I asked about how long and I was told at least 5 hours. Why not call and ask me to reschedule instead of wasting my time and expensive gas?

My wife took her vehicle in for a state inspection and they tried to upsell her a battery. Said the battery was leaking and sent a picture of the battery with leaves around it. I found that hard to believe since the car had just been in for service, less than two months ago, in one of MY Maryland car dealerships (they do not do PA state inspections) and passed with flying colors. The tech who did my wife's inspection at my dealership is a shop foreman who I have known for 16 years and believe if there was an issue with the battery he would have said so. Corbin's was purchased by a Meinecke franchise a little over a year ago (original owner is gone) and hope it was a mistake on their part and not trying to take advantage of an older woman.Service: General repairs & maintenance

Sad to say today is the last day I will use Corbin Auto Repair (now Meineke Car Care Center) in New Freedom, PA. I have been a customer of Corbin's for just over twenty years and have always found them to be honest, trustworthy and delight to work with. The previous owners have now retired and the new owner has lost my business from the first transaction. Good bye Corbin Auto/Meineke.

This used to be a good shop. Now meineke, after the previous owner retired. They will try to sell you stuff you dont need to pass inspection. The inspector said i needed rear brake work, adjusting rear brake, and machined a drum which wasnt needed in anyway to pass inspection. There was NOTHING wrong with the rear brakes. They couldn't recite the specific section in pendots vehicle inspection regulations, where it says the truck required the work they said to pass inspection. They didnt even have a book on hand and wouldnt look at the one i had brought in. Surprise, i am a state inspector also, as well as a mechanic. After revealing this information, the inspector stormed out as he was caught in his own lies, and i'm sure was embarrassed. After leaving the shop Meineke called me and said they would pass the truck if we brought it back with the rear brake adjusted. So apparently the drum work wasnt necessary huh? And after checking the brake adjustment myself, there was nothing that needed adjustment.After the truck passes at another inspection station i will be filing a complaint with the quallity controll officer for york county, and provide them with the screen shot pictures meineke sent me. This was an extortion scam for a couple extra hours of work. DO NOT GO HERE!

Great small town auto repair center. The owners are cheerful and honest. Great service, reasonable prices, and a sincere thank you. I'm a 15+ year customer and they have earned the next generation's business as well.

Extremely disappointed. My family has gone to Corbin's for years, and man has their customer service SUCKED. The lady who answers the phone is extremely rude and unprofessional, I had very simple questions and she was very rude, not helpful at all, and just hung up on me. I'll pay the extra money and go elsewhere, which is very unfortunate, because Steve is extremely good and knowledgeable.
