About Amy Hopkins String Works
The wonderful luthier and craftsman was a true artist and expert in her craft. She does amazing work on violin, guitars, bass violins, banjos and other stringed instruments. She remember full circle moment from child fiddle lessons and still work with her for violin fix up, advice or repair. Her reasonable rates make playing music accessible to everyone, not just people with a few grand to spend. She repair an instrument that looked like a beaver had been chewing on it and the tone and appearance were fabulous after her repair. She was kind, friendly, super talented and knowledgeable and highly recommend for repairs, purchasing or reselling.

Amy is the best:) A wonderful luthier, craftsman, artist, teacher, fiddle player and friend. I remember my fiddle lessons with her as a child and it’s such a full circle moment to be able to still work with her when I need a violin fix up or some advice. Love you Amy!

Amy does amazing work. She took an instrument that practically looked like a beaver had been chewing on it and when she was done with it I couldn't even tell where the original wood ended and her repair began. And her reasonable rates mean help make playing music accessible to everyone, not just people with a few grand...

Amy was a genius at repairing our family's heirloom concert violin. The tone and appearance were fabulous after her repair. She also repairs guitars, bass violins, banjos and other stringed instruments. I highly recommend her for working on your stringed instrument
