After meeting with Tony, who came highly recommended, we believe that we CAN teach our older dog new tricks. We appreciated Tony coming to our home. This best suited our pups. His suggested techniques proved positive within minutes! He knows what he’s doing and our dogs responded well to him. We also appreciate his availability to us for followup questions and such. We believe he truly wants both us and our pups to be successful. We would recommend him to others. Thanks Tony!

Tony is great! He is able to instantly connect with a dog and show how simple commands (both verbal and nonverbal) give dogs direction and boundries. He explains things easily and simply for the owner. He stresses consistency, consistency and consistency. He is willing to answer any question between classes and is easily accessible.You can instantly tell how much he cares for the dog and the owner and teaching how to build a bond with your dog. We have a mutt who has fear aggression and anxiety. He is helping to get her to pay attention to us and communicate to her what behaviors are acceptable, and what behaviors are definitely not. As we’ve learned to work with her we have seen her show us she really wants to learn and is very willing to do so. Her anxiety level has decreased because she knows what is expected.Tony’s military background definitely shows through. He is no nonsense and does not take crap or excuses. Overall he offers the structure that is needed for a successful relationship with you and your dog. His ethics and standards are evident from the first time you meet. I highly recommend him!!

We received helpful advice and training with our golden doodle puppy. Lucy is now sleeping in her crate, we are working on her jumping when greeting visitors. Thanks again for all of your expertise and for training Lucy’s new parents!

I just had my first meeting with Tony and our German Shepherd/Husky. He clearly has an excellent understanding of dogs and is not interested in using excessive force in his training methods. In that first meeting we discussed several behaviors and strategies to address them. I started working with my dog today and will meet with Tony again in 2 weeks to further hone my skills. I'm looking forward to working with him.

Tony is great! I have a very anxious dog. Tony took things slow and gave me insights and instructions that were easy to follow. His explanations made so much sense. My dog is already changing his behavior.

Tony is clearly experienced at what he does. He helped us implement basic training techniques and successfully add the e-collar to our training program. Our French Spaniel Sanza is now much more receptive to our commands.

I want to say that Tony really earned his fee with Baxter. This dog was a completely unmanageable bonehead but now he is very compliant to command. When Tony returned Baxter to us he spent over an hour showing us how to keep up the training and use the training tools. One of the things Tony wants us to work on is "come" , Baxter is a very stubborn dog and will come if he feels like it, or maybe not. We are still working with him on coming when WE want him. Tony has scheduled a return in a week or so and I hope we will be able to show him some more success. I can highly recommend Knucklehead K9 services.

Tony was great coming out for our home eval. From the start he took the time to understand our dog and what we've tried so far as owners. His approach does not shame owners for needing help, which is a relief! He takes the time to share his knowledge and expand on the psychology behind the training. He took us through a variety of cues and exercises to work with our reactive barker who lacks confidence and structure - always explaining the why. We feel confident that working with Tony we will have a happier dog and happier humans.

Tony came to our home to evaluate my dog Oscar, who has been reacting negatively to anyone unknown that attempts to enter the driveway or yard. He gave us lots of information on how to mitigate this concern that we can easily implement ourselves.He could have easily talked us into getting training from Knucklehead Canine Services, that could have been very costly and time consuming. However, he encouraged us to work on training him ourselves at home and gave us lots of online resources to utilize. Tony also told us to call him if we need more help!Tony was very helpful and informative, and we learned alot from him about why Oscar acts this way.It was a huge relief and we will work on helping our beloved Oscar get past his fear and trust issues! As well as keeping everyone safe!So thankful for Tony's assistance! I highly recommend him and Knucklehead Canine Services.Thank You Tony!

Tony was a pleasure to work with. He truly had a way of getting the best out of our unruly puppy. Our granddaughters, who previously didn’t want to be anywhere near our dog, now ask to play with her every day. Although she continues to be energetic , she is much easier to handle and is much better behaved thanks to Tony’s efforts. We wouldn’t have survived the puppy stage without his expert guidance. His services were well worth the money spent for the peace of mind and ability to control our wild dog.
