Giant has been the best pharmacy I've ever had. My insurance requires me to use mail a order pharmacy, but when I need an urgent prescription I have historically gone to rite aid. I always felt like I was an inconvenience to them. Over the past few years their service has declined to the point where they were closed for multiple days without warning and I couldn't get urgent prescriptions. That's when I decided to try Giant. I never realized how poor rite aid's customer service was until I started coming to Giant. Everyone has been so kind and my prescriptions are filled in a timely manner. I don't have to worry that I won't be able to get my medication, or that I'll be treated rudely. This review isn't meant to put down another pharmacy, but the difference in treatment and service is so clear that I will never change pharmacies again!

This place is the absolute worst place I've ever seen consistently understocked, if stocked at all 4 days without ground beef, every single food counter closes early, mind you they service a mid size town, it's time for new management, or to close completely, I've asked them for times in the last two months why they don't have produce and the Managers have shrugged their shoulders, and told me I don't know, this place is the pits, safe yourself a trip, and go to Karns, or Weis, overpriced and stale products on top of it all.

Shopping on Wednesday evening at New Cumberland location. Two gentlemen behind the deli counter at 742pm asked for service one said we are closed. Posted hours say 8pm. Terrible

This is a basic needs store. Milk, bread, eggs blah, blah, blah. There is rarely any baked goods bread, rolls etc. making you have to go to a bakery or a competitor.

The New Cumberland Pa Giant is one of the worst I have been to, and unfortunately, the closest to me. Out of stock a lot, can't find anyone in the meat and seafood dept sometimes. And the only store I have ever been to that doesn't have the carry totes.

Seems to be difficult dealing with the lady pharmacist @ this pharmacy also I have to keep calling them to find out if medicine is ready etc. Mr. Barry seems good and explains everything others Not So much!

I love my small Giant! Yes sometimes they don’t have everything in stock like the larger ones but I can usually find everything I need! I love that it’s not crazy overwhelming like some of the bigger one! I think it’s perfect!

You know, as much as I hate this store because of its terrible produce and lack of cashiers, I wasn't going to post a review. But I had an experience yesterday that just really pissed me off. I am making an antipasto pasta salad for Labor Day. Yesterday was my only day off this week. I go to the deli, where I begin to give my order of three items. After the first item, he holds his hand up and pretty rudely says "only one at a time." I apologize and request my items one at a time. The last thing I ordered was 1/2 lb of Asiago cheese. After he literally threw my order at me and smirked as he told me to have a nice day, I continued with my shopping. Now, I have to say as someone who has worked in customer service my whole life, I am never ANYTHING but nice when being helped by someone. There was no reason for him to be so rude to me. Anyway, I'm making the salad today, only to discover this j*** gave me a hunk of white American cheese and labeled it "LOL Italian Cheese Product." Are you kidding me??? Because I was busy, I had my hubby go back to the store for me. The customer service woman was very nice and told him the deli didn't even carry Asiago cheese! Why the hell didn't he just tell me that yesterday instead of scamming me and completely wasting my time??? I'll be making the drive to the Giant in Camp Hill from now on. Just awful. On a positive note, they gave my hubby the actual Asiago cheese at no charge.

Amazing store! But staff is not really helpful and very unprofessional sometimes I asked where the sushi was and the response I got was " I don't even know where the f*** things are around here"

It just seems like they're constantly out of stuff. It's getting to be a bit annoying having to shop at two different places. I started going elsewhere even though this is right around the corner. The section with seasonings and spices has been wiped completely clean for probably two months now. Can't get anything. Cinnamon? Basic seasonings? There has been absolutely nothing. Some stuff I haven't seen since the start of the pandemic but local competitors have the same stuff. Edit. Went back again. How is a grocery store consistently out of every spice and seasoning imaginable? Just awful. Go anywhere else.

I was just at the New Cumberland store and numerous people were allowed to shop without wearing masks. I'm at risk person and I guess I will have to shop elsewhere!
