The one star is how cooperative the front desk lady was the first day. However, everything else about the experience was absolutely treacherous. This has to be the worst experience I have ever had with USPS and seemingly the most incompetent people I have ever seen working at USPS. I had multiple redeliveries and they failed to deliver small packages to the mail every single time when I called them to double check that I was getting things delivered. They told me I was. I waited two hours at the mailbox for the delivery man to be told that he does not have the package. After calling for the third time less than 15 minutes before he arrived. Me and my husband had called Seven times and only got one pick up. We had already called and told them that we would be outside to receive the package because the walk to the Office, as we currently don’t have a working car, an hour long one-way and they failed to get the package on the truck the next day. We scheduled delivery online. We called the scheduled redelivery the day before. It just seems that this USPS is not something you want to trust or use whatsoever. The real kicker is, they claimed that they can’t deliver it to the door, but the first time we had a package delivered, we had to schedule a redelivery and it came straight to the door. So no one is on the same page. No one has seemingly common sense if you’re getting your packages from here good luck. Highly unrecommended and Newcastle USPS is a zero out of 10

if you live in an apartment building beware workers are lazy and never deliver packages or mail to the right address there have been plenty of times where i have never received my stuff or had to reorder on my behalf because the adult workers don’t follow directions this has been on going for about 8 months there has been no change and i have not seen any difference in how they plan on fixing this problem they don’t answer the phone like ever if i could give negative stars i would. very disappointed and frustrated

This is by far the worst post office every time I turn around the mail is stacked in boxes thrown on the ground just damaged. This is unacceptable this should be a crime as well because how are u able to get your mail if it’s in a box…..investigate this post office because at this point they are misappropriating people’s mail

The main post office in New Castle, PA is the worst post office I've ever visited. Here it is Tax Day and they have one person working the desk! ONE! The mail isn't sorted for PO box customers yet! The Post Master does nothing to help. Whoever schedules workers should be fired. Companies and individuals pay a hefty fee for a post office box and your mail is rarely done by 11 am on any day but especially Monday. Who is responsible for this disaster? It's so bad it's nearly unbelievable...

I don't know why they don't leave the packages, when in the building there are lockers for the same purpose to leave the packages. And then they say that they don't leave them because it is not a safe place, when on other occasions they have even left them on the ground or at the entrance of the building. I have a hard time getting to the post office to pick up the packages.

I went to change my address as I just moved to New Castle and the girl with Blonde curly hair, glasses, nose ring and a wrist tattoo was extremely rude to me for asking simple questions. Online showed that I had mail delivered when I didn’t, and she said she couldn’t help me. I don’t know how she even got hired but would not recommend going to whatever counter she is working at that day. Rude human!!

Didn’t tape the box yet because I wanted to make sure I was doing everything right. They Wouldn’t tape the 3inch box for me. Told me I had to go back home and tape it closed, then come back. What happened to humanity? It’s just sad they run this business like this.

I am tired of not being able to get my packages delivered to me. Its been 5 years and its annoying that i have to drive all the way out there to pick up packages when you could just deliver it to me like you deliver to my neighbors. I want my package today! If I have to drive out there then I want to be able to come and pick my package up today and not have to wait until monday... the fact that I have to wait so long when I should have it today is so irritating and i feel like I should be reimbursed. You guys are more of an inconvenience to me than anything. If I could opt out of USPS mail all together I would. I don't understand how you can deliver to my neighbors but will not deliver to me. On a scale of 1-10, package wise, I'd give you a 1.

According to the tracking number, my package had been delivered at my front door. I checked and there was no package. I checked at other doors around my home, no package to be found. Not sure if my items are being stolen or if the drivers don’t know where they are but this happens quite a bit.

They always deliver but never leave the package even if I request it which makes me waste time and money to come get a package that I asked to be left at the mailbox

This particular post office is pretty good. Occasionally they get swamped but that's like anywhere else. USPS itself needs some overhauling, they keep raising rates but keep losing and/or stealing mail. And sometimes they don't scan items when delivered.
