Whoever the "man behind the curtain" is, he used very disingenuous tactics to downplay the value of my trade-in while trying to upsell a car. He seemed more focused on his commission than on providing fair service, making my experience frustrating and untrustworthy.
The KBB value on my trade ranged from $59k - $64k. His initial offer was $55k for my immaculate, low-miles 2024 Lexus TX. That was highly insulting and unreasonable. I was honestly hoping to get $62k. I guess I should have started at an unrealistically high number as he did low. When I reluctantly agreed on $59.5k, it created the illusion that he came up $4.5k, while I only came down $2.5k. These values were clearly manipulated by this unethical manager. He's part of the reason that car salesmen get bad reps.
I was never even introduced to this sales manager, as I have been at other dealerships. Did he even exist? He provided horrible customer service and had zero value for my business. My experience was regrettable.

RUN AWAY!!! Service department is not only a rip off but is incompetent even at over $150/hr for maintenance. Even if you tell them three times they might still get it wrong. Do what all the good service managers have done in the past couple years and run to another dealer! They won’t even keep their best employees so why would they care about the quality of your service. Only advantage is they’ll make you learn to do the work yourself

Bought my VW Tiguan here almost 2 years ago with an extended warranty. i have had zero issues until now. The buying process was fine. However, my car started leaking water. I called the dealership to inquire about service and told the receptionist of the service department that I was having leaking issues possibly through the panoramic sunroof. I specifically asked her to check if it would be covered under my warranty. She ended up calling me back and told me it was 100% covered and transferred me over to Preston VW in boardman. Mind you, I live in mars, PA but was willing to make the 1hr + drive if it was being covered under warranty. Waited two weeks for an appointment and the problem was fixed in an about an hour. The man at the desk told me I owed $180 because the rear drains of the sunroof were clogged. I explained that I specifically called the original dealership weeks ago and I was told it was covered under my warranty. I then waited almost another hour just for him to call and to tell me it is not, in fact, covered! I should’ve never went through the dealership nor trusted what they tell me because it was all a lie and overpriced. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND either Preston Toyota OR Preston VW. Could’ve saved $$, gas and toll costs if I was accurately informed about this issue in the first place. A VERY IRRITATING process.

My son was looking for a new Prius Limited AWD, we found it here. We are from Illinois and the process was so easy, Ty was very helpful and professional. All the guys in the dealership were happy and had great attitudes. The finance guy was easy to work with-BIG PLUS-felt no pressure and we were off back on the road within 45 minutes. Thank you to everyone at Preston Toyota-We appreciate how easy it was to purchase a vehicle from your dealership.

My husband and I found ourselves having to find a vehicle unexpectedly after my accident. We saw an ad online for a vehicle that we were interested in from Preston Toyota. Long story short, we went there and met an OUTSTANDING salesman by the name of Ty Johnson. He made our experience absolutely amazing!!! Ty was very knowledgeable and attentive to our needs! It was the most pleasurable experience that we have ever had!!! Great job Preston Toyota! If I ever have the need to buy a car again, I will DEFINITELY be back ❤️

Earlier this year, my daughter bought a Corolla at Preston. Braeden Bailey was her sales rep and he showed her the advantages of a hybrid based on the mileage she rolls up. He was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. She is thrilled with her car.
A few days ago my car had mechanical issues. I put on the miles as well. Knowing how pleased my daughter is with her car, I called Braeden. He was off that day and Drew Riley answered the call. Drew and I texted back and forth for a few days while I was waiting for a diagnosis for my car in the shop.
I decided that the smart play was to buy new.
Drew had the car we had been discussing ready for me to test drive. I had done my research and was sold on the Prius, I just needed to sit in one first.
Drew was incredibly responsive to all my questions and was ready to meet with me at the appointed times, which I really appreciate.
I cannot recommend the sales team at Preston Toyota of New Castle highly enough. Both Drew and Braedon were straightforward, honest, no high pressure tactics. They truly seem driven to help customers find what they want and need.
I would definitely shop there again and I would recommend them to anyone in the market for a great car.

Had an incredibly positive buying experience at PToNC, due primarily to the efforts of consummate salesman Rick Ferrari - most unlike my poor experiences at other Toyota dealerships.
Toyotas are often sold before they hit the lot, which lends some dealerships and staff a certain arrogance and condescension - but not here and not with Mr. Ferrari
He literally met me at my door and escorted me inside, and was attentive to what I was looking for; less than an hour later after a bit of dickering on my trade, I signed papers for the RAV4 XSE hybrid shown below. I picked it up the next day.
If you're looking for a dealer that wants to sell, sells at invoice and isn't full of patronizing derelicts, give Preston a chance
And if you do, ask for Rick Ferrari and Bob's your uncle.

I wanna just says the environment at this dealership is so homey and laid back I felt so comfortable here. Everyone was so professional and accommodating to me and my sister. I am a first time car buyer and the man Ty Johnson who took care of me did such a wonderful job he answered any and all questions I had and took his time making sure I got into a car that I loved. I recommend anyone looking for a car to stop in and to go see him! He isn't just looking for a sale he is looking to make sure your happy and comfortable in a car that you'll love!! I will for sure be pointing anyone I know in Preston Toyotas direction from now on. Thanks to everyone who played a part in getting me into my RAV4 2024 yesterday!!

Laura at Preston is excellent. I bought my Toyota Sienna XSE from them earlier this year. I felt like I was in good hands, and they were also very accommodating with my schedule, as I couldn’t go up there right away to pick it up. Preston also knows how to sell cars remotely to out of state people so if anyone is looking to buy from out of state I highly recommend Preston. The entire team was on top of their stuff and when I needed documents signed by them for registration and etc they were on top of it and got back to my very timely. Thank you for being so easy to work with and for accommodating my needs. Also when I met Laura and was driving the car down she even made a small care package for me which I was really thankful for. Thank you Preston !

I have never seen a dealership were the body shop and repair service just does not care about customer service or have any consideration for your time. Every time we take the car for service or an issue with something it turns into a nightmare. Toyota had a recall for front bumper issue, we call they tell us the part is on back order, so they say we will call you when it comes in. They call few weeks later, they setup the appointment wife goes in, mind you we live 2 hours away. The lady in service says, "we only have 1 and the person in front of you is getting there's done". REALLY, you called setup the appointment and this is what we get. I try calling asking for the GM 3 times and i get a voice message that he is currently busy.
