With my own barber closed on a Sunday, and needing a haircut for a work event Monday, I made the mistake of coming here for a haircut and beard trim.
I'm a fairly simple men's haircut. Fingerlength up top, tapered to a #2 on the sides, square off the back. Literally the same haircut for 20+ years. When my stylist was finished I took a look in the mirror and found countless stray hairs flying around everywhere. Nowhere close to fingerlength or even. I asked her to give it another pass over. She basically proceeded to give me another haircut because she had missed so much the first time.
Then came the butchery of my beard. She started by trimming around the top and bottom, but left the neckline really uneven and came down too far on my cheeks. She showed me with a mirror. I pointed out that she didn't actually trim the beard hairs. She asked me what size I'd like the beard trimmed to, and I told her that I usually use a 10mm guard at home. She only had a few guards at her station, nothing that size. So I asked her to just use something bigger so the hairs were at least all the same length since she otherwise was going to let me walk with beard hairs uncut and uneven. She did a poor job here. I finally just told her I'd do it myself at home. This was for $10 in addition to the haircut.
Tl;dr: Shoddy quality haircut and a beard trim so bad I had to fix it myself at home and wait for my neckline to grow out to even it back up. Two stars because the place was clean and cheap, but I wouldn't go back even if they paid me.

Sarah always does a great job. She pays attention to detail and takes great pride in her work!!! I highly recommend her and this salon. Amy the manager runs the place like clockwork. You can tell she truly loves what she does. She is a great people person!!!

The staff is always really nice but I feel like there’s a 50/50 chance you’re gonna get exactly what you wanted or you’re gonna leave with your hair looking a mess.

We are new to the area, never really heard great things about great clips back home.. BUT if that is true or not it does not reflect my first experience today ! I checked in online and was in a chair within minutes of the estimated time. As this being my first time, I can not speak of the others skill set, however, Alicia cut my hair and I am very pleased! She was very personable and I am happy with my cut and service, I will be back and asking when she is available! I can say the others seemed to have good personalities also! Thanks Alicia for all the good tips you provided today!!

Signed in online went in and waited no one said anything to me they continued to cut 3 others hair when they said they did not sign in online... I thought oh maybe I made a mistake I went to the desk and tried to talk to someone and they ignored me even while they were standing at the desk 2 feet in front of me for over 5 minutes. I walked out and will never return.

If you want a fade you typically don’t think of Great Clips. However, I was in a bind and they were accepting walk ins. I sit down in the chair with SARA as my stylist and let me tell you she did not disappoint. The conversation was awesome and the fade was even better. I would definitely recommend this place.

The haircut from Great Clips in Neshannock twp was perfect! Amy talked to me about what I wanted, what I didn't like, and style options. Amy gave me a very pretty hair cut with a slightly new twist. It was overall a very good experience!

#greatclipsMy husband just talked to his dad.He walked into Great Clips on Wilmington Rd in New Castle PA to get a hair cut.They asked him for a phone number. He replied, "I don't have one to give you."They refused to cut his hair without a phone number.What kind of country do we live in when a Navy Veteran, working class American can't get a hair cut because he don't have a phone number to give you?All thumbs down!
