I called them first thing in the morning to schedule an estimate for repairs from a car accident, and within the next couple hours the estimate was complete and they began working on the repairs. I mentioned to them that I had a really tight timeframe on when I needed the car back, and they worked above and beyond to get it done very quick. When I picked it up, my car looked brand new as if it had come from the dealership. I was astonished at how personable they were, and how amazing my car was when I picked it up. Could not thank them enough for everything they have done. I would not take my vehicle anywhere but here. “I’ve been in an accident once before, and it was a nightmare of an experience between my insurance and the collision shop I was sent to. As soon as I was hit this time, my first thought was that I would have to deal with another bad company and how I did NOT want to go through that part again. Caliber Collision in Colmar made everything SO easy and stress-free for me. They went into detail explaining everything to me when I initially dropped the car off and exactly what they would be fixing (I know nothing about cars so this was helpful), kept me updated the entire time on repairs, and even finished the vehicle a week earlier than planned. They made it look absolutely brand new (significant front end damage to the drivers side that you cannot even tell was there now) and the paint is perfectly blended. This was the most severe accident I’ve been in, and the worst my car has looked, and they made it perfect.

The front office secretary / manager (not sure if that’s her official title), Andy, is super knowledgeable and holds such a space of calm positivity around her and over the whole experience, which I found very valuable and refreshing amidst the fast pace and stress of life in general, esp dealing with a damaged car. With the struggle for getting the right parts on my behalf Drew and everyone else working on my car were very patient while i was working on getting the correct parts for my car while it was stuck on there lift. When i got the parts to them they finished the same day. LT headers and a Borla Atak catback are no easy task especially in a 5.7L dodge challenger. While working on my car i was constantly updated about everything going on and was even given pointers and recommendations for my car. “LIP was recommended to me by my tuner after I slid into a curb during some snow and and a good amount of damage to the front end of my Mk7.5 Golf R. From start to finish, they were incredibly easy to work with, arranged for their own tow truck to pick up my car same day, kept me up to date on the entire process, worked with a supplier to receive and install some after market wheels during the fix, and gave me back a car that looks/drives as good as the day I got it.I really can't say enough good things about these guys. Phil and the team did a great job and made the unfortunate event of crashing my car as painless as possible. They did great work and I would 100% recommend them if you're looking for a reputable body shop. While I hope to never see them again ;) I'm glad I came across them and wouldn't hesitate to call them again if the need arose.”

Utilized John McShane Auto Body for a somewhat minor incident involving a practically brand new vehicle. I wanted to patronize a local independently owned shop rather that a franchised operation. Mc Shane has been in business for a long time and comes highly recommended. They were great dealing with the insurance company and ensuring that original manufacturer parts were used when the insurance company requested cheaper aftermarket parts. The turnaround for the repair exceeded three weeks, which seemed a little excessive. Delays in availability and transit times for parts were blamed. Upon delivery of my vehicle after repairs all appeared satisfactory. Closer inspection over the next day or two yielded discovery of multiple missing push type fasteners and self-tapping screws in the wheel well and trim parts the area of the impact. Not to mention a damaged air vent that needed to be removed from the opposite side of the bumper that had the screw hole completely broken with no way to fasten that particular point. An inspection of underneath the front bumper also yielded two more missing push type fastener. After a wash I also noticed the fender that was painted had a run in the paint. I repeatedly kept noticing something did not seem normal inside my driver's side door. I was seeing a row of open holes along the edge of the door and found a piece of weather stripping was missing after reassembly.

I am not sure if this situation is the result of overbooking, understaffing or lack of quality control. However, my experience is probably described best by the word "Sloppy".”
