Wonderful B&B located on a very scenic 15 minute drive from Bucknell University! John was incredibly hospitable and friendly. It’s very clean and comfortable! Samuel Aurand House was a far nicer experience than any of the local hotels that I stayed in.. We stayed for my daughters graduation.. I wish we found it freshman year!

A very wonderful and historical place to stay. The rooms are fantastic and comfortable. John is the best inn keeper and conversation is always plentiful. Highly recommend checking the place out! We go every year and will always continue!

We did not want to leave! John makes you feel welcome from the moment you enter his beautifully decorated, historical (and clean!) home. A delicious and conversation-filled breakfast is a perfect start to the day, and the relaxing air-tub and fireplace is the perfect finish. Great host, really comfortable rooms, and a nice breakfast. Our stay was short, but so enjoyable! Location is convenient to Susquehanna U, Bucknell, and really not a bad drive from Penn State.

I stayed there this past winter and what a treat even during the last snow storm we had. John was an amazing host and made a delicious blueberry lemon pie for breakfast. I stayed in the room where I got to enjoy a nice warm jacuzzi bath. This place takes you back through the eras of history in such a tasteful manner. You can feel the years of memories this place contains and yet very comfortable and clean for modern day enjoyment. The bed was comfortable and I got to control the heat in my room with the fireplace as well. I highly recommend for a quick getaway and also check out the beautiful shop downstairs.I had a blast shopping there as well.Also the coffee mug is a great souvenir to purchase remembering my stay there.

This place was amazing! Ended up here by accident, hit major traffic travelling from VA to NY and decided to stop here for the night. Terrific historical building! Great service, the owner was awesome! Highly recommended! You will not be disappointed!

HelloIf you need a place to stay or you are visiting in the New Berlin, PA area you must stay with John at the Samuel Aurand House.Very nice rooms, great host and a special store next door.My wife loved her time soaking in the hot tub.We will return.

We had such a wonderful time here. John is a gracious host who made our stay most enjoyable with morning chats and a very delicious breakfast.The B and B is beautiful and well maintained with a nice big tub and plenty of hot water.I can not wait to return to this wonderful getaway.

We had a wonderful stay in the suite. It was spacious and cozy at the same time. We enjoyed a nice glass of wine while relaxing on the private balcony. The beds were comfortable and the sheets as soft as can be. John was a wonderful host.
