Friends staff in the pharmacy. Went there for a flu shot and it went so smoothly.

The first time i went here the staff were very kind and considerate, i wish i could say that for today though. Today i went to pick up my prescription, told the lady my name a birthdate (i am trans so i gave my chosen name which was completely fine the last time, nothing was said about it) and the lady walked away to go get it. A minute later she called me over to the consultation counter and very loudly announced "First of all, the name is [birth name]." You cannot do that to your customers. I understand that i don't look female anymore (which is what i want), but i do think i look my age, so given that she knew my date of birth its not hard to assume i am picking up my own prescription. You cannot just loudly announce to everyone there that my name is not the name i gave. If a customer gives a name, its because that is their name. She then went on telling me something about my script and then i interjected that my doctor told me it was okay, and she didnt even say anything about it. Its just very rude and makes trans people who live and exist around here feel unsafe to use this pharmacy anymore. If i can i'll get scripts i need fast somewhere else where the staff will respect me.

Typical CVS, although without a drive-thru window. Rarely crowded on weekdays. Easy access and spacious parking lot.

I have never in my life seen a bunch of lazy people in my life they don't wanna make phone calls to the doctors office to see if they can get my meds pay for they have put another person in front of me and they are not running my med card to the right place so that I can get my meds the male boss does not care he tells me to go yell at them and I told him thats not my job it's his he still does notthing the only one that nice and does her job is the women boss.She a wonderful women everyone else needs to go I had an operation on the 28 and on the 29 I walk to the cvs for them just to tell me that I am not covers but my med insure told me different that I was covered.so I will never go back there again and there is a nice young lady and young man there who attends to the floor and they have helped me out more then the people in the pharmacy.i had to switch my meds to some where else

The manager and employees are so incredibly rude ! Plus the pharmacy screws up the prescriptions on a regular basis. Unfortunately my insurance through work doesn't allow me to get my scripts filled by Walgreens. I miss Walgreens, they were always on top of things, always pleasant, and their products are better priced. The manager at the CVS in Nesquehoning follows me around the store as though I'm some kind of low life thief. That is very upsetting ! I am an essential worker who hasn't missed a day throughout this pandemic ! I would never steal from anywhere ! I spend so much money on a regular basis at this CVS because of my insurance and its close to home. Well, after how rude the manager was to me tonight, I will no longer buy anything from that store ! I will travel somewhere else ! There is only one pleasant employee at that store. I don't know how she puts up with that manager and her co-workers !

The service I have received here is abysmal. Unfortunately for me, my insurance is through CVS Caremark so I have no choice but to deal with this pharmacy. Long wait times on the phone and usually understaffed so the employees treat the customers as if dealing with them is a chore and they couldn’t be bothered. I may just do mail order from now on because I do not feel like a valued customer at all when I go to this pharmacy.

Went in to get some Vapor Rub and was greeted shortly after entering and asked if I needed any help by an associate named Michael. He pointed us to 2 spots and came to check on us to make sure we found what we needed. During check out a product rang up wrong and he went back to check the correct price from the isle label for us.I'd give 4 stars and say just your typical CVS, but 5 stars for Michael being knowledgeable, helpful, and friendly.

I am appalled at the service and nasty attitude of the pharmacy staff that my fiance got on Saturday when trying to get an emergency prescription filled for me.You DONT TREAT PEOPLE THAT WAY! We will NEVER go there again and tell our friends about the service!
