I came to him when I started my business 20 years ago. He kept turning the paperwork with one hand pointing where I needed to sign. After 3 or 4 times he had me sign for his fee and he had his hand covering the price. After I signed it he showed me the cost 450. I was pretty mad at the way he did that not telling me it's his bill! I wanted to pay with my credit card and he insisted I pay with debit card. He told me I had a great year for just starting and I had the money he didn't understand the problem. I never went back for taxes and he charges more than twice the price of other places. Had to transfer a title recently. He was the only one open so I went there figuring it was a set price for this. It was a hassle the lady didn't know what to do she had to keep asking the owner took almost 2 hrs and the person selling the trailer paid more than me! I still pay less than half the price he charged me this year for taxes. He was very shady with using one hand to cover his price then letting me know I just signed his bill agreeing I owe him 450. I would love a response from this business. You know your ripping ppl off! After I seen your reviews I had to leave my review.

Completely messed up our title transfer. Never received it back from Penndot and had to have the previous owner get a duplicate title and waste another $300 to transfer it a second time. They were very rude at the time we did the transfer and even more rude when we called to try to resolve the issue.

I was buying a car from NJ and it was unclear from PennDOT what I need to do. I went to SmartCents and they processed all of it and I walked out with a new plate and the paperwork sent off to PennDOT. Way nicer to deal with than the other big name “agency” in the area for vehicle needs. Will go here from now on!

Absolute garbage. Came in with a buddy to do a title transfer on a vehicle that I purchased off of him. Immediately got discriminated started asking more questions in what the paperwork as stated. Kept asking The seller why he was selling me the car at the price and every time he would give them an answer he would look for other ways to get a different answer out of him. I brought my plate in my registration and the gentleman wouldn’t accept it. Couldn’t give me a valid reason or answer on why I couldn’t use my existing play with the registration that I had on my email. Seems like this place just wants to get every single “cent” out of you. Than the gentleman had a terrible attitude about helping us. Stay far away this place is a dump.

I called to get information on transferring a title from out of state. When I asked what fees would be involved, he muttered an expletive. I can’t imagine how anyone in the title and tag business, or any business, would see that as an unreasonable question. He will not be getting our money.
