“The gentleman, Heath did a great job and was honest with us. He allowed for us to ask many questions and change our minds and debate on multiple items. When he had a rush of people ( Maybe, five in total) he helped all of them even bringing out to their items out to their truck and answered their questions. He did a wonderful job and was very knowledgeable.”

Brandon and Edwin were very courteous and professional and made sure all of our furniture was handled with care from truck to our house and made sure everything was placed where we wanted it and all features were installed properly. “Nice place but very pricey. It used to be that Amish goods were slightly cheaper. That was a big draw to go to Lancaster. There were originally a few kings stores. One of them the original is now closed up. It is just up the street from kings Homestead and sits on a corner property. This was the original wood shop where you could see the Mennonite carpenters. I say this because the saw equipment was electrified. Either way, they used to produce some very beautiful pieces out of that shop. The kings Homestead is very nice, but there is a lot more made from China offerings in home decor than there used to be. Don't get me wrong they do have a very nice selection of Amish made furniture. However, their prices have gone up significantly and they are no longer leaving you with the feeling that you've really gotten quite a piece for the price I mean you are getting solid real wood, but it is at a premium. Not complaining just stating the facts.”
“If you're in the Bird in Hand-Intercourse area you have to visit this store. They have Amish furniture on display including tables, cabinets etc. But they also feature table tops made of various domestic hardwoods, such as the hard-to-find chestnut. Most of their wood comes from reclaimed barnwood. An amazing store.”

“20 years ago I bought a beautiful Amish oak kitchen table and chairs plus benches and bar stools from John Horning. I raised my family with these in our kitchen and they looked wonderful, wore like steel and were perfect the entire time. Good friends of ours also purchased at the same time and are still using theirs. We recently completely changed our style and needed to change the look. We sold all of the original pieces to one person retaining more than half the original value. And we returned to John and now his son Andrew for a new table. See pictures. (the chairs we purchased elsewhere) And this time our son and his wife purchased a new table and chairs for their new home. John and Andrew Horning are the BEST furniture makers I know of and their prices beat any I know of.”
“My husband and I purchased a custom dining room set (with 6 chairs) and a king master bedroom set from Sydney and his crew at Blue Ridge Furniture. We are over the moon with how everything turned out! From start to finish, the staff at Blue Ridge was so helpful in accommodating our requests. They even went as far as to give us a tour of their factory, allowing us to see our furniture being made! Very cool. The staff at Blue Ridge is friendly, responsive, professional, and truly skilled in their field of work. They offer a delivery service named Greenly's Delivery who we were also very impressed with!
