“This store is amazing for the items in stock and the good prices. There is a huge selection of anything that you can think of for any scale model trains. They have a large helpful staff who are willing to help you find any particular item and good advice and tips for the hobby.”

“A cute store in the heart of Philly. Decent selection of comics, trades, hardcovers, and children's books. Role-playing books. Character figurines. We walked in 40 minutes before closing, and the clerk was super helpful and genuinely nice.”

“My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our visit! The staff was welcoming and helpful. It was nice to explore the different products, where I quickly found my personal preferences. We enjoyed making our own tin, and I appreciated how adults were invited to participate as well. While I would have loved a peek into the factory, there is a video of the production process available for viewing. It’s a fairly quick experience (maybe 30 mins) but a definite stop if you’re in the area!”

“I like 5 below in any location but this one is just so big and beautiful. My children love it also, they are so amazed when we go to this one in particular because of how much stuff they have, the 2 floors and definitely have mentioned to me how clean it is☺️. I myself agree it's very well kept and clean, the shelves are stocked with items for your home and family+friend's, and my personal favorite is the staff they are helpful, they are polite and I have no complaints about this store at all it's definitely a must stop when we are downtown.”
“I'm actually not much of a board game player or TTRPGer myself but I still love this place. I pick up a new game and/or shiny trinket every now and then but even when I'm not in the market for anything, there's always enough interesting stuff to keep me busy window-shopping while my friends do the real shopping. The atmosphere over at 7th Dimension is great. The people there are friendly and despite my social anxiety's best efforts, I don't get that "You don't belong here. Why are you here?" feeling that I tend to get in most gaming stores.”
“This store has the cutest little playhouse hidden in the back and an EXCELLENT supply of toys. I think it's the best I've ever seen in a local shop. They would have 5 stars just for that and for their personable employees, but the owner unlocked the bathroom five minutes before closing so my toddler could poop and she did it so kindly--I'm a shopper for life here now.”

This was the first shop that came to when I found out that I was pregnant a little over a year ago, and they continue to have a good selection of newborn outfits. There is also a nice selection of baby and toddler clothing from Colored Organics.”

“I've been to this Barnes & Noble countless times, and it’s easily one of the most beautiful locations I’ve visited. The selection is perfectly curated, the atmosphere is inviting, and most of the staff are incredibly helpful and friendly...except for one.
Today, after countless times of ignoring a certain employee and not allowing their behavior to affect me, I finally felt compelled to speak up. Once again, a slightly older male employee wearing dark glasses made my visit unpleasant. This employee, working at cashier number 2652, responded to my simple question with a slightly snarky tone and ended our interaction with an unpleasant "Bye."
Despite feeling uneasy, I chose to respond with kindness, wishing him a great day. However, this pattern of behavior has made my visits uncomfortable. I hope management sees this review and takes the opportunity to address this employee’s approach to customer service. I don't wish him any reprimand or ill will, I just hope he is encouraged to treat every customer with kindness and professionalism so that no one else has a similar experience or feels discriminated against.”

“I absolutely adore this store and have been a frequent shopper since we moved to the area last year. The staff are AMAZING! They are so sweet and accommodating and hugely helpful when finding books or toys. I buys all of my kids toys here and they LOVE this store. The selection is incredible and perfectly curated to have wonderful options for everyone (especially diverse selection of POC authors!). The owner is fantastic and has saved us TWICE when my son left his lovey in her store. She knows my name and is so kind every time we go. Honestly nothing beats supporting this incredible local business. This sweet women even put his lovey in a bag with my name on it when she found it because she recognize that it was my sons. 100 stars ?”
