I have been using the same pointe shoe style for years until it was recently discontinued; Meredith was so nice, friendly, experience, and patient helping me find new ones and she did. She carefully listened and her suggestions were great!

Pleasant experiences on both visits. Friendly owner and assistant greeted us upon entering and noted they’d be with us shortly, when finished with customers ahead of us. We were able to look around the small shop easily and found ballet slippers and a leotard that fit without any difficulty. My daughter was able to try on the items before purchasing, as well. There’s a dressing room for trying on the leotard. On our first visit she was helped with trying on ballet slippers. Will return if we need more supplies!

Meredith and the team at Swan go above and beyond to ensure that my dancers' needs are met. The pointe shoe fittings are easy to schedule online and Meredith works to ensure that the shoes fit properly. When we have had to order pointe shoes, the staff at Swan has given us approximate wait times. They are always knowledgeable about each dance school's dress code to ensure my daughters have the required leotards and tights. Swan is an asset to the community and I appreciate their customer service and their attention to detail.

Hands down the best dance shop in the Philadelphia area. Knowledgeable, experienced staff who really care about dancers and understand from firsthand experience the importance of fit, function and aesthetics when it comes to dancewear. Swan’s team and their selection is unmatched - wide range of pointe shoe options and a beautiful selection of designer leotards, skirts and warmups that rotate with the seasons. Love this shop!

Thank you, SWAN, for staying open for 10 extra minutes last week when I came in right before closing!! These days, customer service is "hit or miss" in stores everywhere -- so, it warmed my heart to nervously come in and be treated with such generosity. Look forward to my next visit.

Horrible/ racially profiling experience. 11/26- I sent my black husband to buy our child new tap shoes. My husband was ignored, overlooked, and unwelcomed by the store associates. Giving him prejudiced looks. Other non- black customers were greeted as they entered the store. Finally, he walked to front counter and asked for assistance and associate act like they didn't want to help him.

We have been going here for years to get my daughter ballet shoes. I don't know anything about ballet so I trust them to get her the right size. This year, she got a pair that was too tight. My daughter used it during one ballet class, realized it was too tight, and they will not exchange it. They said just to buy a second pair at full price. When I complained we got 20% off. But the woman that measured her said "I would have not have recommended this shoe size with how she's measuring." Then why did they a week ago? and why make us pay for their mistake? What's the point of coming here to get her sized if they recommend the wrong size and will not take it back?

What an amazing gem in Narberth, PA!I brought my granddaughter to Swan Dancewear for a formal pointe shoe fitting. We showed up for her appointment a little before so she could look around and shop a bit. We were greeted right away and while we waited for the appointment, we found some really cute dance items.During her appointment, Meredith carefully evaluated my granddaughter’s feet, measured her feet, looked at her in relevè, then chose quite a few pair of pointe shoes to try on. She was very thorough and asked so many questions to ensure they fit properly. Meredith helped her say “woohoo to the shoe!” What an incredible experience for our girl. She couldn’t be happier!We will definitely be returning and we highly recommend making an appointment for a great fitting.
