I love this bookshop! it’s a cute and cozy place…and i’ve been making it a point to support local businesses and not relying on amazon before they run out all local bookstores and drive their book prices up. If they don’t have the book you need then you can ask them to order it for you!

Great to have this treasure of a small independent bookstore right in Narberth.

I love this shop. Small town throwback with a great selection and curated segments to browse should you be interested. A really nice section on music and musicians in the back. Overall you'll find interesting selections. If you are unfamiliar, Narberth is a super cozy shopping district. This store has the proverbial squeaky door to open and well worn floors to walk.

What a charming little bookshop! It's a well curated selection of books, with a small selection of used books. Definitely worth a visit!

Love the Narberth Bookshop! It is so nice to have a book shop to stop into and browse in downtown Narberth, and I now buy all of my books from this delightful store. They are so nice about special orders, but also have had every non-obscure major title I've wanted on the shelf. I highly recommend it.

It's a small shop but packed with interesting selections. If you want something they don't have it is easily ordered for you and they'll call when it arrives or ship it where you want it to go. So much better to support a local woman-owned business than fuel the behemoth Amazon...

Went in to provide business to independent book seller to help out small business. Wanted to order 33 books (30 of the same book for family, friends and business contacts for Christmas) Treated so rudely by the young "woke" acting male who was camped out at the register behind the counter, looking at his cell phone and who clearly did not want to get up and look for the book. While he said he did not have book, his attitude was so obnoxious I made the decision not to order the 32 other books. Update: Received a response from what appears to be owner of bookstore; excuse for behaviour was ee had received bad news. There should be no excuse whatsoever, sad news or not as to how I was treated. Per the owner, Due to the "plight" of small, indie bookstore , perhaps I would reconsider eing short staff due to pandemic. This says volumes of excuse mentality. Its time to move on from the pandemic. To note, the soul reason I went to this indie bookstore was in 100 percent of their plight.... Perhaps, one needs to consider the wokeness, virtue signalling all of which the employee embodies has lost its luster and will and will turn buyers who dont appreciate it.

Local treasure, an independent bookstore in Main Street Narberth. They intelligently stock based on readership tastes and are happy to order whatever isn't in stock. Friendly staff

It's a small space with a highly curated selection but that's not why I'm giving it a low rating. I was the only customer in the store. The entire time I was there I was not greeted by the person behind the counter and was not asked if I needed any help. They did speak to their friend who was sitting in the seating area, however. I felt awkward and uncomfortable the entire time I was there so I browsed briefly and left without buying anything.

I love this bookstore - and when I shop on the weekends the staff are always friendly. When I shop during the week, occasionally I walk in and am completely ignored, which feels awkward in a small space like this one. Just a “hello” as people walk in would go a long way vs. not even looking up from a book the entire time I shop. ?♀️I’ll try to stick to the weekends. ?

Wish I could give it 10 stars!! This is Best Bookstore in Lower Merion! Ellen has the books you want and the books you need. Don't waste money shopping online just call over to Narberth bookshop, they deliver and do curb side pick up. Forget those online billionaires. Shop local this little book store won't disappoint you! Every time I walk by and look in the window I see the book that I've heard about or thought about, the same with my pre-teen. We always walk out with a book that he not only wants but books he actually ends up reading and enjoying, that we didn't know existed before we'd walked in. Thank you Ellen keep up the good work!

Convenient to this area. Nice people. Great block in Narberth (Haverford Avenue). Nearby to curbside restaurants. A bit small inside, but no book is a small book!
