Very nice Veterinary with kind and patient staff. I once took my cats there for EKG checks but the results came wrong. They asked me to redo the checks for free. And when they know I have no car and need to take Uber there, they gave me discounts in the later expense as a compensation for commuting. I have never ever meet sooooooo great vet!Love it!

Sad that this is experience was an unpleasant one. We hardly had any contact with the vet, let alone the opportunity to ask questions/voice concerns. We found that critical care instructions were not communicated to us clearly, which affected the ability to care for our pet as intended. A simple ear infection became recurrent with our young kitten under this care as it did not seem to be fully addressed during visits - which we had literally no interaction or ability to communicate throughout. Despite being fully compliant in providing necessary samples, bringing pet in for routine care, this vet missed huge and obvious issues which the subsequent vet immediately and adequately addressed. The substandard care alone is cause for concern, and the cost just adds insult to injury. Cannot recommend.

Been taking my dog here for years and it’s just okay. She missed a murmur on my dog which my moms vet found when we were visiting. My moms vet said it’s definitely been developing for years and was pretty noticeable so treating it sooner would’ve been ideal. Honestly I don’t even know if she listens to my dogs heart since she still won’t let us in for years now because of covid restrictions, which in June of 2023 is just an excuse for not wanting to deal with humans. I’m a doctor in the area there’s no reason that we shouldn’t be allowed to come with our pets on visits when masked, we certainly accommodate our human patients who can’t speak for themselves to bring their family members with them to appointments.

NEVER GO TO A VET THAT HAS NO COMPASSION!!!Elderly widowed woman who is my neighbor lost her pet cat suddenly and horrifically. She was unable to transport him to the vet. (I learned this too late.) She called the nearest hospital- this concentration camp joint- and they refused services because this cat was not a 'client.' This woman. a recent immigrant to Penn Valley, has taken her angel to specialists vets over a skin condition. She also had vets come to her home because she could not bear to crate her.I have been an animal rescuer for over 25 years- and a lifelong resident of dear old Penn Valley. I beg all of you to go up the street to Haverford with Dr, Royster. There are too many ganoffs out there and there are those who truly care--- haven't lost their heart and/or the reason they entered the profession. This place should be sanctioned against.

While living in Philly for the past two years, we have taken our puppy to Narberth Animal Hospital, we are now moving out of the area but will forever be grateful to Dr. Stez and her team! They always made sure to keep us very informed, would take last minute appointments if we had a concern, and we couldn’t have been happier with the service here!

Had a great experience. My 8-week old puppy was having urinary issues and Narbeth was able to see him on short notice. Very grateful to Dr. Stetz and the team.

In 2021, I relocated to the area from another state. As the closest veterinarian, I called to inquire about services and establish care with the office. I called this office at least 10 times over the course of 3 days (weekdays) and even left a voicemail. I never had an answered call. Stillwaiting on a call back. I got the impression that they'd gone out of business or the vet's semi-retired. (Uncertain because I never got an answer.) Apparently they are still in businesses according to recent reviews. This, in spite of being incapable (in my experience) of the most basic of business functions - returning calls/answering phones. P.S. Found another Vet in Manayunk and they're fantastic!

The best! Dr. Stetz and her team are spectacular. The lovely and kind staff, Jeanne and Caitlyn are always so kind. They called me the morning after my kittens appointment to follow up and Dr. Stetz emailed me personally that evening. I received a kind handwritten thank you note for choosing them to care for my cats. I can't say enough good things and couldn't be happier. Thank you Narberth Animal Hospital

I was caring for an emaciated and very friendly stray cat (Frankie), and brought her to Narberth Animal Hospital for testing, bloodwork, deworming, etc. The morning after we brought Frankie here for a checkup and bloodwork, her adoptive family brought her to their family vet closer to where they live. That second vet found that Frankie was dangerously anemic and suspects cancer. Frankie stayed at that animal hospital overnight. I am waiting to find out if she is still alive.I’m dismayed that Narberth Animal Hospital didn’t catch the blatant anemia. I feel that insufficient attention was given to Frankie. I think it’s important for the staff to know about this so that they can work to prevent another massive oversight with someone else’s beloved pet.I sent the above to Narberth Animal Hospital in an email this morning hoping they would take it to heart and respond. I haven’t heard back, which is disappointing and makes me feel like this isn’t important to them.Overall I feel Frankie’s checkup was rushed and that this animal hospital is all business without much care. They also didn’t do much of what I specifically asked for during the appointment. Disappointed.Edit: appreciate the response from Dr. Stetz

Extremely thoughtful and kind. They personalize to your pets needs (I'm sure as you know, as a pet parent, this is extremely important). Dr. Stetz and her staff are great. Believe me, they'll take care of all of your kid's needs.
