I just left this location looking for snow crabs. This is the 2nd Acme in a few days that was a letdown. The seafood encasement looked horrible. The smaller snow crabs should have been trashed. They were dry and dirty. The shells were black in a variety of spots. The crabs are supposed to be frozen. This is the second location with thawed seafood. The only thing frozen were the lobsters. The Jumbo snow crabs were horrible-looking as well. Not to mention the store smelled bad. The stench hit you in the vestibule, which is bad. I should have known with the small the seafood would have matched. I may have to cross state lines to get a decent Acme. PA Acmes needs to do better. DE Acme here I come.

I visited this acme on July 28 and every meat I purchased was either going bad or rotten. The pretzels were stale despite not being past due. The pork purchased was frozen immediately upon purchase and had a 7/31 expiration date. When we thawed it, it was green. I will never shop here ever again. Acme usually has such an amazing reputation and this is just insulting and a massive waste of money. In this economy, that's simply inexcusable.

If you’re expecting customer service you will not find it here. With the no bag policy they don’t even offer a bag at check out. No hello, no eye contact… just a total to pay at the end of the purchase. Such a terrible feeling of absolute disregard at the conclusion of your shopping trip. So don’t stop at this store on your way home from work no longer are there accommodations for this scenario.

This store has shown blatant discrimination against me. I arrived at the deli counter at 6 PM, where a white woman was being served. The employee, a black man with one eye, took her order and offered to cut her some deli meat. However, when it was my turn, he told me, "I'm sorry, but we are closed." It is evident that the previous customer, who was white, received service while I, an Asian individual, was denied. I am reporting this incident to the store and will ensure that this discriminatory behavior is known. I will never patronize this store again.

This is specifically for the bakery: with only 36 hours lead time they were able to produce two birthday cakes, with the decorations we wanted, and they tasted amazing!

Not a big review person but Seafood woman here was rude & dismissive when I asked why the seafood refrigerator is never ready & empty or it looks a mess….I usually come around 11 am every other day & it’s usually like this, she went right back to fussing on a phone call plus I found out she’s the manager too back there so I didn’t know who else to speak with in the seafood department about her! I forgot the name of the male worker but Terrance or Tyrese that works back there was helpful in finding something for me & apologize on her behalf so that help calm down my bad experience which is why I’ll give a 2 star

This ACME is pretty bad when it comes to spoiled meats. I purchased 3 packs of salmon from them only to open them up and find they were spoiled in addition the same grocery trip, I bought a pack of edamame and that was also rancid!
The sad part is this is not the first, second or third time I have bought food that was spoiled at this store.
Giant over near Wynnewood is a much better store to shop at. This is closer to my house but I would rather spend the extra 5-10 mins to go elsewhere.

Ordered 2 cakes for my son's birthday's went to pickup and they asked what order???? Found the order and she read te date wrong. How you read Mar 17 2024 as Mar 24th 2017 like GIRL whattt that was your excuse??? Super pissed out getting a refund and I should receive more than that because the bakery dept is just incompetent!!!!!

Place an order on the mobile app for it to be delivered between 3-7 today but it was never delivered. I called the Acme. They said that I had to call DoorDash so I called DoorDash and they said that Acme canceled my order two minutes after it was placed that they couldn’t help me so I called Acme back to get a refund and they told me that there was no one there to help me that that department was closed and I would have to try back tomorrow. ?

I had a wonderful encounter with an employee named Finn who made my day. He greeted me with such a warm smile what warmed my soul. The rest of my time there he assisted me with my product questions and concerns. His help made my experience absolutely incredible at this store. Please come here you will be treated very well.

Incredible Kosher meat department. Well-stocked. The Kosher meat manager gives attention to detail and cares about his customers. Highly recommend.

The deli department service is horrible. They ignore you then they move super slow and act like they are doing you a favor.I always try to be polite, patient and kind but it doesn’t change their attitude towards me.Not everyone is cut out for a service job.The rest of the store is great!!!

Bakery closed. Waited ten minutes before a nearby employee finally said something. Was told I had to go to customer service. When I got there, the girl says she doesn’t deal with that with an eye roll. Everyone wants $15 an hour minimum, but doesn’t want to have to do anything for it. Keep ur attitude at home or get a different job if you’re unhappy.
