Very competent, from Tim in sales and his explanation of options and standing behind the quote to the actual installation by Justin H and Dave S. Justin and Dave in particular were very efficient and went over all the info we needed, making suggestions when we needed them. Very professional installation. I'd be happy to use Shank door again, but it will have to be on a different house, these doors are gorgeous and will last longer than me! Thanks!

I needed to have some work done on my garage door. After a frustrating experience dealing with another company that I went back and forth with for weeks trying to get a quote, they didn’t want to come out and look at the job, just emailed picture back and forth I found Shank door. I called and Tim S came out in a couple days and listened to what I wanted done. Gave me some really good options. Actually offered me a different option that was half the price which really helped. Nate B came out about a week later and listened to what I wanted and took the time to be sure we were on the same page. He did a very good job, showed me what he was doing at various points during the work, made sure it was what I wanted and got it done perfectly and quickly. Clearly a master of his trade which is refreshing to see these days. I would highly recommend these guys for any work you need.

We contacted Shank Door to replace an old garage door opener. The entire process from selection, ordering , scheduling & installation by Joe the service man went absolutely smoothly. Shank Door installed two garage doors, 2 openers, and replaced the moulding surrounding each door. Siding and J channel were also replaced. Justin H. did a wonderful job!! He is a true craftsman. The doors look stunning and everything is working great! Thank you Justin for your attention to detail and teaching us how to work our new equipment. Highly recommend!

On The 22nd of August 2024, garage door technician Tim Dewire came to my home to replace both the springs/cables on my garage door. The level of quality of work is well above any other company. Tim is a great asset to the company as his professionalism is unmatched and his personality is top notch as he is very respectful and very knowledge full of his work. He arrived when he stated he would and started his work promptly there after. Now since his repairs my garage door is operating as if I just installed it just yesterday, like a dream! Tim is a great representation of the level of quality work that [Shank Door] produces and is an irreplaceable asset to the company and the rates at which they charge is a very affordable and competitive market rate.

The window configuration on my new garage door was incorrect. I was upset. I was told the order was placed with the manufacturer incorrectly. Ok. I was angry. But two days later a service man came with paint to fix minor scratches and 2 sets of window grills, one of which was going to match the new door. All good? No. The colors don’t match. Now I am very angry. I was just told that the correct window grills will take four weeks to be ordered and received from the manufacturer. Ugh! What about overnight mail? What about a token adjustment on my bill? Instead I was asked for understanding as mistakes do happen. Yes. I agree. I was told that this is not Heaven. So now I feel bad and angry. Lucky me.

Very responsive service from initial call thru installation date. New opener is just what I wanted - smooth and quiet! Installation and removal of old equipment took all of one hour. I highly recommend.
