“I needed a new TV and was stoked to find a local place with delivery. I’m unable to really lift large TVs. I went in with a list of things I wanted. There were two models that I was told were the same and they’d be the same price. Great! When we got to the counter I asked how many HDMI ports were included. I was told 3. Fabulous! Just what I needed.
When the TV was delivered it only had two HDMI ports. I was confused since the salesman looked at the tag and read it off of that. I drove back and it turned out the two TVs were not the same.
My original guy Rodney, was not there and I was told he’d call me Monday. By 3pm I didn’t have a call so I called back. He was already aware of my issue. He asked “what do you want me to do about it?” I was taken aback by that as the man I talked to when I drove in said it could be swapped. Rodney agreed it could. Why he acted like I had to provide that info is beyond me.
They swapped out the TV today. I knocked off a star for incorrect information being provided, and my time spent driving back and having to explain it to two different people because one didn’t want the swap “under his name”.
I will return to this business since they did make it right in the end.”
