I recently was in to find a new vehicle. A Chevy was not even on my radar of vehicles in the running. Jim Shorkey of Murrysvilles salesman Cole S. took charge, quickly changed my perception and swept us off of our feet. He was knowledgeable on the make & model of any vehicle we wanted to look at or test drive and he informed us of all of the vehicles options. He was prompt and attentive & we were beyond impressed by his professionalism and his personal demeanor. I knew I didn’t want to buy a car from anyone but Cole. A normally stressful long process was made seamless and enjoyable with Cole. What an incredible asset to Jim Shorkeys team and an absolute pleasure to work with.

This was the first time at this dealership, and I must say this was the best experience I have ever had at a dealership. From the begging to the end, they made the process easy and fast. Purchasing and now getting service at Jim Shorkeys has been so easy! I can book service online for what I need to have completed and pick a date and time good for me. My car is done quickly and I have the pleasure of sitting in a comfortable lounge while I wait. Their service managers are effective and efficient always.

My experience with Jim Shorkey Auto Group was exceptional, thanks largely to my salesman, PJ. He was attentive, listened to my needs, and quickly came to an agreeable price over the phone. Upon arrival at the dealership, PJ greeted me warmly and ensured the process was smooth and efficient.
2. Vehicle Selection: ★★★★☆
I initially considered a Jeep Cherokee but found that the Toyota Highlander better suited my needs for towing and accommodating my two large dogs. The Highlander I purchased had low mileage and checked all my boxes. The selection at Shorkey was impressive and matched my requirements perfectly.
3. Pricing and Financing: ★★★★☆
The price negotiation was straightforward and fair. PJ made sure we reached a deal that worked for both parties. There were minor adjustments needed due to a missing key and a slight paint blemish, but these were handled professionally.
4. Trade-In Process: N/A
I did not have a trade-in for this purchase, so I cannot comment on that aspect.
5. Paperwork and Delivery: ★★★★☆
The paperwork was efficiently handled, and despite a few tweaks to the deal, the overall process was smooth. I left the dealership with my new (used) Highlander in a timely manner.
6. Post-Purchase Support: ★★★★★
Shortly after the purchase, I encountered an issue with a check engine light caused by a faulty O2 sensor. The dealership provided excellent post-purchase support by offering a loaner vehicle while they fixed the issue. They even delivered my car back to me the following day, which was a great convenience.
Overall Impression:
My car buying experience with PJ and Jim Shorkey Auto Group was outstanding. From the initial search to post-purchase support, every aspect of the process exceeded my expectations. First time I bought a car from Jim Shorkey. Would recommend you give them a try. When I got my truck home I noticed a little over spray on the door from the chip guard that Chevy applies. Took it back down, they cleaned it off, no problem. Waited to write this review to see how that was going to be handled. Very friendly and professional. My salesman Jacob Valvano was very nice to deal with.
