We rented the Pump House for our August wedding. It was the perfect Pittsburgh venue - interesting history, by the river, bridge in the background, and beautiful green space. Stacy coordinated with us and was a delight to work with. It's very reasonably priced and they have experience working with many vendors, which made the process easier. Plenty of space indoor and out. We had two food trucks and rented some extra bathrooms and there was still a ton of space. It was beautiful, would highly recommend for weddings or other events.

We had our wedding here and the Rivers of Steel team was spectacular to work with. Communication was consistent and prompt from start to finish and Stacy and her team made sure everything about our event was wonderful. Thank you for making our wedding extra special!

This is a great part of history in the steel industry. I never knew living around Pittsburgh my whole life that this place was the place that a battle once took place. The history of the battle is very interesting as well as the pump house that still stands there near where the battle took place to this day. There are plaques marking areas of interest where parts of history had happened years ago. It is a nice place for photography as well and a great place for a walk. Carrie furnace is also right across the river and there is a historic bridge to the left of the pump house. Carrie furnace is also a great part of American history.

It's kind of a cool setup. Nice view. Good location. Not very big. The "labyrinth" could have been cool if it had anything to do with a labyrinth, honestly huge let down.

Absolutely amazing venue. My cousin got married here. The setup was perfect. The views are beautiful! On a hot day, it would probably be better if the windows were able to be opened more and if more windows were open for full ventilation.

This is a great place to park on the GAP, if it is open and there is no event going on. If there is an event going on it is usually interesting and worth the visit but you won't be able to park and then ride your bike. Travel further down the road and you will find another place to park. Then continue your ride but be sure to visit the pump house event, you will be glad you did.

I'm the owner of Katherine's Daughter Events and we recently assisted a bride and groom here on their wedding day. This is a rustic, beautifully aged landmark. We thoroughly loved working with Stacey and her staff at Rivers of Steel. Here are a couple of suggestions for any bride/groom. There's no heat or A/C so depending on what time of year you choose, you need to think about the comfort level. It was a chilly, 60 degree day, but sunny so it was very nice for us. It was windy but that was fine, and we did turn on the heaters as the sun went down. They provided ample warmth indoors. If you love old bricks, windows and a gorgeous view, this is your place.

The Mon River has great historical significance for Pittsburgh with Steel Mills dotting the land all the way down and along the Ohio River. We must be proud of our histott
