The staff is friendly and helpful.
That's not including the time I had a woman describe ailments and food as 'hot, neutral or cold' - like some of the most quack science I've ever heard of. Furthermore, I've also had the displeasure of realizing I knew more than the people/vets explaining things to me. I had to explain (what I thought) were very basic things. Maybe I had someone new - I'm not one to cast judgment, but would prefer everyone is informed :]
I'm not, however, nearly as pleased when it comes to medications or how they run script-writing.
They refuse outside prescriptions. Why? So you get the sales? With no savings (for us)on the medications? Your prices are, at times, almost double. WHY do I HAVE to go through you? There are other vets that do this. Or at least have deals (maybe I missed them!?) I understand that the situation regarding online prescriptions is questionable at times, but you really can't even offer it in any capacity? To a customer you have a relationship with? I'd genuinely like to know how that would do anything other than hurt the customer? How can you ETHICALLY deny my pet, who is infested with fleas, the ability to get this medication?

I took our cat Mario for the 2nd time in a week for an ongoing eye infection. The first visit was pretty routine...we got eye drops and told to make a follow up appointment in 10 days. We realized he was having the opposite reaction to the drops in that they were actually making his eye worse so I brought him back in today. We had the pleasure of having Dr Kubat with this appointment and she was amazing. She took the time to do some research....gave me options....seemed to understand that the goal was to get him all better as efficiently as possible. I didn't feel pressured to run 300 tests or made to feel like a bad cat mom. She gave me her expert opinion and we're running with it. She even went as far as to find where I could purchase specialty medications that Muncy Veterinary didn't have on site. Just amazingly helpful and understanding all around. I'm going to be requesting her for all of our future appointments. 5⭐

If I could give this clinic 10 stars, I would!Dr. Reitz was our Veterinarian in the Harrisburg area for a few years before going to Muncy. He was a part of a large animal hospital down here, and we were very fortunate to have him. We are very picky pet patents and want only the absolute best for our furry kid. (I am not kidding. We will only settle for the best)If you are reading this, perhaps you are looking for a good veterinarian. Look no further! Dr. Reitz is not only a genuinely wonderful human being, but he is also very knowledgeable and extremely caring for the pets and their parents.Just last week, a local vet told us that our baby girl might have cancer because of a fast growing lump on her face. Even though the Harrisburg area has dozens of veterinarians, this was a “no-brainer“ for us. We had to find Dr. Reitz!! We would trust nobody else with the life of our baby girl! We found him via Google and after one phone call, we had an appointment for a few days later.The day of the appointment came. We drove over two hours, and approximately 100 miles to see Dr. Reitz. We were greeted by staff that were simply amazing! Our vet tech was wonderful! When Dr. Reitz entered the room, we were so relieved. He took the weight from our shoulders.He diagnosed our girl and almost immediately did surgery. It was a long day for all of us, but he was right there by our side, as was his team of Angels!Thank you to everyone for taking good care of not only our pet but us. You were all so patient and understanding with us!For people reading this. I’m not exaggerating with anything that I have said. Dr. Reitz is our hero! I am in the “people” medical field. There is a lot to be said for customer service in the medical field nowadays. Dr. Reitz And his staff could write the textbook on how things should be done.

The staff are very passionate about delivering A+ care. They always treat my animals and me with great care and respect. I really like Dr. Reitz and his staff.

Was told I would get a call back after I called 2 times still no phone call back !I have 2 very sick cats .waited a week still no phone call back!! This is not good Business!!at all and very RUDE we have been going to this vet for a few years now

Wonderful experience: friendliness of the entire staff, genuine concern for our pet, excellent explanation of the test results by the veterinarian, Dr. Reitz, and promptness in seeing our pet. We highly recommend Muncy Veterinary Center!!

Check the date on the 5 star reviews. Most, if not all, are for the previous owner. I knew it would be pretty hard to fill Dr Lewis shoes but dang, the new guy isn’t even trying. Prices are doubled. Dr attempting to upsell worse than a car salesman. Absolutely no bedside manner & without a doubt, does not care about your pets / only your pocketbook. He’s double/triple booking patients & you’re stuck waiting longer than a medical dr specialist appt. Sad to say it, but after decades with this vet center - we’re moving on.

If i could give a zero i would. I was very unhappy with the "help" I got. My dog started bleed from one side of his nose on thrusday night and there were no emergency place open. When I called and explained what happened they felt that he didnt need to be seen but gave use some Chinese medicine i never heard of and didn't tell us much about it. We gave him one of the pill then he started acting werid. So on Monday i called them back and they said the medicine can have side effects but they didnt feel like he needed to be seen he will be fine. Then i started calling around and everyone i spoke to told me he need to be seen asap. So i took him to another vet and found out he has VERY high white blood count and they need to also do a CT scan of his head to rule anything else out. I called them back and told them what happened and ask for a refund on the medicine that was point for me to get and they said no. I am very unplease how they dealt with all of this and will be going to another vet.
