Auto dealerships have more Junior and unknowable staff that reply to online inquiries and act as a conduit for a low level salesperson. They can't convey accurate messages in a timely manner. That's problematic. At Blaise Alexander, a successful chain of mostly subpar American manufactured vehicles, mixed in with Nissan and Mazda dealerships, don't rely on people who work with any sense of urgency. Its mind-boggling that car dealerships make the buying experience unpleasant. If a majority of vehicles in a dealership have poor to average ratings, you'd think they'd emphasize much better service and provide greater effort, to attempt to make up for what they are selling. That isn't so at Blaise. Prices are routinely above others in the market, which is what harkens when one group owns nearly 20 dealerships. I put in several requests by phone, email, and text with the dealership. I was very clear in conversation with one of the conduits who promised I would be getting a call from a manager. The excuse- "we got slammed ". The result, follow up emails are necessary to finally hear after over a day and a half later that the vehicle that I was waiting to make a deal on was sold during the day I was awaiting a call back. I never received the information requested. There's no apology. Nothing is done to rectify the situation. That translates to "we don't care". This stems from most car dealers and salesman having tunnel vision. Their words and actions are inconsistent, and they lack empathy. They don't understand basic principles of business, relationship development, maintenance, nor loyalty. They don't grasp principles such as brand equity and creating brand advocates. At the end of the day, customers need simply to rely on advice from friends, family, and business associates, reviews, reputable sites such as Consumer Reports, JD Power, US News & World Report, CarFax, Edmunds (owned by CarMax), among orders. This review is a reality check for an inconsistent family of dealerships that's inefficiently and ineffectively managed. Co-workers don't communicate, auto-generated boiler plate generic emails and texts are sent out, people sound as if their words are scripted, and time is wasted. Life is too short. Time is too precious. Look elsewhere.

I bought my third equinox from Blaise Alexander. Found the staff to be helpful and attentive. They worked to get me the best deal possible. Alex and Rob were very kind and thoughtful about my needs for a vehicle. I would recommend them again for 3rd time.

Horrible customer service. Bought a brand new 2020 pickup and had an issue with it. Had it there 3 times, started asking questions and they just stopped communicating with me.

I called three times regarding the same car, I asked the same questions 3 times about the car, but unfortunately, never got a call back! I was told "manager will get in touch with you" by the same person who I talked to 3 times. I guess they dont need the business.

By far the very worst dealership I have ever been to or heard of, there should be a negative rating for these jokers. Went to sell my 2016 F-350 to them, the first 2 sales people were alright to deal with. Then came some guy named Jim, there "used vehicle manager", turns out he is the same guy that I just watched race around the parking lot on a golf cart smacking salesmen in the back of the head ....very professional.... anyhow, he came over to my truck never said hello or anything. He looked at the back tire (there wasn't anything wrong with it) and that was it, then yelled across the parking lot and said "nope nope nope not gonna happen, not interested." He was very ignorant about it. Still never said a word to me and he knew I was there. I wouldn't recommend this dealership to my worst enemy, not professional at all and they seem to really look down on people. I'm not one to write reviews or talk bad about a business but I honestly feel bad for someone that goes there and has to deal with them. Long story short I went just up the road right after leaving Chevy to the Nissan Blaise Alexander dealership and sold the truck. I cannot even explain how professional and nice the folks were there. It was a night and day difference between the two. Clearly there is a issue within the Blaise Family Dealership company to keep people like Jim around.

Will never buy a vehicle from any Blaise dealership again. They gave us a hard time about our trade in due to the major rust it had.. yes we knew it was there. They insisted that it will be going directly to auction due to the condition and couldn't give us much for it. They lowballed us at 8500 for a 2011 Chevy 2500 that now sits on their lot for 20,000. BUYER BEWARE- that truck has a ton of rust on the wheel wells and the inside of the bed. I get that dealerships are out to make money but they refused to do any negotiations with us and blatanly lied to us about several other things too. We bought our new to us truck on a Monday and scheduled to pick it up on Saturday. When we got there for the pick up, our salesman left us sitting in the showroom for over 40 minutes. All we needed to do was hand over a check and be on our way. I had to track someone down to go get someone to help us. They initially gave us the wrong paperwork and I had to ask for our keys 3 times. Our deal included a "we owe" for scratches that were to be fixed. We were assured that our salesman personally made sure it was done. It was hard to tell that day because it was pouring down rain, but the next day we saw the scratches were still there. Didnt even try to buff them out for us. With the poor service we already received, its not worth going back and trying to fight it out with them. If what we wanted was easier to come by, we would have walked away. Here's your link showing the truck is being sold by you and not for auction

By far the worst dealership experience I have had in my life. I live in Seattle and wanted a new 5500 and the only one in the color I wanted was thousands of miles away at Blaise. No big deal I will fly out there and have a nice road trip home, so I thought. I contacted them via their website and Robert Jarvis reached out to me, got me a price and whatnot and we agreed on everything. Robert asked me to fill out a credit app on their website (which I did) and he says: "you have good credit, and everything is ready" so I book a flight and hotels for my journey home. 2 days before I planned to leave, I asked him what my interest rate was and he replied with "its good". A little nervous I asked him to send all the paperwork electronically and then he went silent. The next day I was frustrated so I called the finance team directly and they told me the truck was sold weeks ago. I told them they were confused and that I was the one who bought it and they said nope the truck is sold and gone has been for a while. I had even asked Robert to put his hands on the truck for me and he said "I'm standing right next to it". This whole ordeal cost me over 5K dollars as I could not get refunds on airfare or some of the hotels. Plus a few weeks later I found the same truck but there was no longer rebates so that added another 3500 bucks I lost out in. And all this said and done what did they offer me as an apology? Not a single thing. avoid this place at all costs.

I took my 07 Tahoe in for the airbag recall and an oil change. I made an appointment and told them what I wanted done. They told me they ordered the airbag for my vehicle and they would be able to do it at the same time as my oil change. A week later, I arrived at my appointment. They took my vehicle and about an hour and half later, they call my name over the loud speaker. I went to get my car and they informed me that they were able to do the oil change and rotate my tires (I specifically asked them not to rotate them) but they were unable to do the airbag because they need to order one. The lady I talk to on the phone when I made the appointment a week ago said she would order one. They wanted me to come back and do it later. I told the guy at the counter that I wish he would have told me this before he did the oil change because I would have just gone somewhere cheaper since they could not do the airbag. They then "found" one in the back to use and took my car back. I could tell they were not happy with me and when I got my car back, all of my tpms sensors were not working. I called them back and they said they would start working after driving for a bit. That did not happen (I have put over 200 miles on the vehicle since). After this issue, I decided to pull my dash cam from my vehicle and got to listen to them call me a Mother F***** and criticized every issue on my vehicle. (It is a 2007 Tahoe with 255,000 miles on it. It has issues and I guess these people can not fathom that. None of them are safety issues. A cracked dash was their biggest complaint.) They went on for a while about my "illegal radar detector" (it is legal in every state except Virginia aka not Pennsylvania) and about my tint on my vehicle. When they pulled my vehicle into the shop, the driver floored it going around a corner while saying "soooooo fasttttt" to a coworker while coming close to hitting him. I did everything I could think of to make these guys life's as easy as possible to do this job. I emptied my glove box, made sure there was nothing on the floor of the passenger floor board where they would be working. I guess trying to do something nice is never rewarded. I have no intention of ever bring another vehicle to this dealer. I will never buy a vehicle here as well. To end all of this off, they did not plug my blower motor all the way back in and I had to take the dash apart to do it myself. To say the least, I'm not impressed. Sincerely, the guy who brought he black 07 Tahoe in on April 23, 2021. Also known as the "Mother F*****" in the service department.

July 2020 my son orders and leaves deposit for 2021 Vette. Have a contract and agreed price. December 28, 2020 he received message his car is in. He goes to get it on Wednesday Dec 30 and now they want $10,000. More for the price! And apparently this is the business practice. Buyer beware! They are not a reputable, trustworthy business.

Bad business. They'll take your deposit and then sell the car under you if the car goes up in value. Judging by other reviews that's an established practice there.

This place is an absolute joke. Tried to sell me every vehicle on the lot except the one I was interested in. Spent 3 hours at the dealership until they finally started to deal on the truck I wanted. They then lowballed me on my trade half of what they promised they would give me from the start, and after a half hour of dealing they said they couldn't get the truck we were negotiating on. This truck was on their website and they told me they could sell it to me when I called. Wasted half my day just to be insulted and lied to. Can't believe they are still in business.

We purchased a used Chevy Trax for our son to drive. We had been reviewing modestly priced AWD vehicles and the Trax rated fairly well. We were looking at a model at BlueKnob and found a comparable at Blaise. I called the dealership to make sure they had the model on the lot and we headed up to test drive the vehicle. When we arrived the salesperson said the car had just been returned having been loaned out to another customer. When went to test drive it we couldn't even get in the car because it reeked of cigarette smoke and animal smell (maybe cat?). It was covered in fur and dirt. My eyes were watering standing outside the car. We chose not to test drive that car but they "conveniently" had a "similar model and year." We test drove that model, grateful we had not traveled an hour out of our way for nothing. It was what we wanted, we had the cash and were ready to buy it and drive away. But NO. They proceeded to make the process the most miserable car buying experience of my life. They made us sit through a interminably long video trying to sell us some kind of magic paint warranty. I told them we had no interest and did not want to watch the video and they said it was required. Required?!? Really we should have left right then and took our business elsewhere. The back room where the sell took place was disturbingly ostentatious. They had computerized flat screen desks with the ability to display and sign your paperwork on the desk. I kept thinking these warranties are buying a lot of bells and whistles for this dealership. We finally got out of there 5 hours later with our base model used car. Then the dealership failed to send us our license which created a whole new hassle. So long story short I would NEVER EVER buy a car here again EVER. Not my kind of dealership.

We went here to look for a vehicle. Couldn't make a deal, so we left. Found out after we got home that they never put our registration and insurance paperwork back in the glove compartment after evaluating our trade-in. We called and they said they put on the front seat, but that is not true. Also, emailed them, but got no response. We believe this is irresponsible business practice. Also, I am adding something due to reading other reviews on here. Same thing happened to us about a vehicle they had on their website, was told was available, then it wasn't when we arrived. They don't know where their vehicles are. They have so many different dealerships.

We were interested in a vehicle on the lot but live about 2.5 hours away, so we contacted them by phone for the vehicle specs and price. We were put in contact with a salesman named Rob Mackenzie, left messages over a two week period and never received a return call. Today we were in the area, decided to give it one last attempt and called to verify the vehicle was still available. We spoke with a manager, who told us the vehicle was available and to ask for Rober. Ten minutes later she called back and said to ask for Floyd instead. We arrived 20 minutes later, to have Floyd tell us the truck was previously sold and no longer available. Their explanation for telling us it was available and to come down, "Oh, I don't know". We definitely will not be purchasing from this dealership, zero customer service and have no clue what's going on. Thank god we didn't drive 2.5 hours and make a special trip to look at a vehicle, no longer available. If I could zero stars I would.
