Ever since I moved here, the man behind the counter has been an amazing person. Within two weeks. He knew my name, and said good morning to me every single time he saw me. I’ve never had an unhappy experience at the post office. Although the post office system has made it difficult for me to forward my mail and to get everything, I do not hold those employees responsible, for the lack of intelligence regarding the Postal Service. If you can tell me one government agency that runs right, then, maybe just maybe will you be able to blame is excellent employees who show up to work there to deal with the unhappy people every day. Let’s all try being grateful and thankful for all the hard work that I know they do. Of course you can agree with me. You can disagree with me and that’s OK. This is my personal experience. Always helpful always friendly and always kind. Maybe if we treated them that way as well we might get treated a little better ourselves. The people behind the counter are not responsible for all of the things that do not go right within the Postal Service. Have a great day guys and don’t forget to be grateful thankful and mindful because all people deserve respect.

I miss Lynda and Edy. Something about them new ppl they got at counter now strikes me rude. I watched a elderly lady come there with gifts for the Staff and when she caught the attention of the clerk she said " Can I give you this for everyone?" This clerk assuming the senior wanted to skip the line replied nooo! Then looked saw it was a gift and changed her tone while accepting it.. what a shame as humans we lost all compassion and respect for others

My storybook characters, "The Adventures of Prissy and Missy (tm)" have enjoyed this excellent Post Office where House of the Guilded Scribe, LLC, Independent Book Publishers sends and receives our storybook characters mail, and other business mail, which is just as important as everyone else's. The Postal Officials try to do their very best in this insane world, with hot tempered, impatient people. They take their employment very seriously.The lobby must remain closed after hours and no one is allowed keys to the lobby to retrieve post office box mail. Of course not. Remember above, I mentioned the types of aggressive mentality people?The lobby must remain closed, until business hours or special hours offered or extended hours for protection of Government Property and safety for people simply desirous of retrieving their in the box mail, when no on duty personnel is in the building.Mount Pocono has become excessively busy and everyone simply isn't nice. Vandals, the Disrespectful, Mean spirited, and other Mal tempered individuals from the public could harm the lobby or people therein. However, the window is not opened on Sundays and yet the Post Office provides lobby only hours.Mr. Benny, retired Post Master was great. Miss Irene, Miss Cherise, Mr. Dodi......they all try to render excellence in service and do not have time to play games with the public.They are no nonsense, conducting government business with knowledge and precision, collecting payment, is there anything else.....Thank you, good bye and next customer please.XOXOXO!

They have thrown out a package of mine, then they have returned multiple of my packages to sender because of "no address found" or some BS like that, and have lost another one of my packages. Now I have a package marked as delivered in their system, and it has not been delivered, so now it is lost. The USPS has cost me over $100, an they will not take responsibility for their actions. I have complained multiple times and nothing is being done about it. I pay extra money for packages to not be delivered through them, but some places do not give that option.

I do not understand why we are not able to access our p.o. boxes when the post office is closed. The p.o. boxes are in the lobby why can't the lobby stay open so people can access their mail anytime

Three different times, package says delivered online and nothing here. When I try calling Helpline, cant get through. Just like last time probably wont get my package never using USPS again.

The workers are very polite and helpful, they provide the standard flat rate boxes and envelopes if you do need them. I come here at least once a week.
