Absolute circus !! That’s all I can say . Never ever anyone at the registers . It’s the same excuse ! Managment should be replaced and corporate should be involved . Billion dollar corporation that doesn’t want to hire and pay employees .

Horrible customer service. I have come in 2-3 times and waited >20mins for help each time to eventually just leave out of frustration.

Today there were 3 self Check-outs occupied and when it was my turn to check out the store associate just reached in my shopping cart and started ringing up my items, I told her that I did not need any help and she went ahead and did it anyway. I was the only black person in line and all the other customers that were before me were white and she did not even offer to help them. I am tired of the racism in the Poconos and I will be talking to a lawyer about this.

It's a decent store but only buy an appliance if Ben is working.
Monday, after asking one employee and told that appliances wasnt their section and the 2nd employee also saying that appliances is not their section but would try to find someone and never coming back. We just left the store, no purchase.
Today is Tuesday, Ben was able to juggle multiple customers with appliance purchases and questions. (We got a Dryer) and there was another customer who said that they also couldn't purchase a dishwasher on Monday and had to come back today.
Yesterday was Ben's day off.
Ben is a rockstar and apparently the only employee at this Lowe's that knows how to do appliance sales.

As the only big box hardware store in the area, it's much more convenient than having to go to Hazleton or Allentown. They have all the usual things you would expect a Lowes to have. And that's the advantage to the smaller stores. I prefer to shop local places, but sometimes they don't have the inventory or variety you need. My one suggestion would be that this area has a lot of coal furnaces... it would be great if they carried some parts for them. I also found the plumbing fittings to be all mixed up and not in the right boxes, but overall glad to have the convenience of a Lowes in the area. I've purchased many appliances, lawn and garden machines, tools, etc. from here and have been satisfied with my experiences. The staff are always helpful and friendly. Returns are never a hassle.

This Lowe's has been our saving grace since moving to Mount Pocono in April. However, this review is to give a specific associate a big shout-out... Oli, you saved our butts tonight! Thank you so much for spending time with my sister advising her how to remove a stuck housing on a water filtration system and getting her the right tools to do it!! Thanks to you, tonight we are bathed. Thank you for being an awesome man.

Sorry state of affairs to be sure. Looks like this store is on it's way out of business. Beautiful afternoon and the place was empty of both customers and workers. Spookily so. Felt like the hallway in The Shining.
I went in looking to buy a 7.25 inch circular saw and get some blades for my angle grinder and it was a waste of time.
Every tool was locked up and caged. Every. Single. Tool. To a highly disturbed degree, is in jail. Their cages even have little signs that say "Associates, please escort your customer to the registers for a great customer service experience". Well, I'm not interested in tracking down someone in the vastness of the store (the place was empty) that has the right key, and then having der commissar follow me around while I buy my power tool so that's out.
The Kobalt tools on the end cap were at least not locked up, each box had an ankle monitor on it but whatever. They had a deal where if you buy a "kit" you get a free "tool" up to a $125 value. Looks like a "kit" is just a normal tool but it includes a battery and charger and a "tool" is just the tool only with no battery.
I don't know how much the circular saw I want costs because there are no price tags on anything (it's an endcap wouldn't you want to make sure stuff has prices on it?) and all the stickers on the shelf are the same: $199 Kobalt nail gun. Fine I get the impact driver kit and the circular saw tool that I want and take it up front and see if the deal works.
Of course there's no cashiers anymore. Just one guy watching the 4 self checkouts out of 8 that are open. He's cool he sees what I'm doing and rings me up. Turns out the kit and the tool both cost $180 so I guess the deal doesn't go through. I wait as he calls his manager to see what he can do. I don't think the manager was actually in the store. Sounded like she was in a plane when she picked up. Anyway, they gave me a 50% discount on the saw, which doesn't make sense to me - if you were willing to give me a free $125 tool and this tool costs $180 you should just charge me $55 for it? Well, it's still a substantial discount and I'm here now and want the tool so fine.
Of course this discount doesn't go through, it requires a manager's approval. I'm like, you just called your manager and she told you what price to put in, can YOU just click the "I approve" button on the screen since she obviously approves?
He calls his manager back and she's still in flight or something - I waited around for ten minutes and said forget it I'll just buy my saw blades and soda and leave thanks.
I don't understand the logic because now I've scanned and abandoned some tools that someone has to scan back in and restock - so I've still added to the amount of work the store has to do, only now you're doing work that doesn't make any money.
It just feels like it's a lot of work to get them to take your money now, and I guess when you operate your store like a police state you get fewer shoppers. I'll wait and see if they have a clearance sale when they close.

There were 3 guys in the parking lot to load my bags of mulch for me.
