I stop here for the prepared foods.The super veggie salad is my go to.Best sushi too!It's a very simple and small store actually!!The flowers, oh wow.. if I could bottle the air up around the fresh flowers!!!

The Bistro meal was great however I did not like how the employee distributed it. Instead of extending his arm in the refrigerator case, he put his whole head plus upper part of body in the case to get the prepared food! Not sanitary at all!!!!He, of course, had gloves on. The issue is him putting head in , hovering over the prepared foods.

Friendly staff, clean store, wide selection. Limited stock is my only complaint.

Very disappointed that they began charging for single use bags. I don't recall being notified about this change, nor did I notice it posted in the store. Had the cashier advised me of this, I would have pulled my own single use bags (that I am re-using) out of my pocket. The store itself is still nice, but the communication could certainly be better.

Store no longer carries no sugar added individual cheesecakes..these are a favorite and were discontinued once before but because of feedback, were added again...now they are no longer available. please bring them back as there are no other sugar free bakery items.

I will NEVER shop in Fresh Market! I have an order of over $75 and they tell be I have to buy plastic bags for my order. Do I wish? HELL NO. left it there for them to put back.

I think Fresh Market is a pretty decent offering in Pittsburghs underwhelming grocery store market. The meat department is especially good, but they could work on the produce section. They have some specialty items you won't see elsewhere. It's a small store therefore can find everything easily. Some of the employees seem like they don't want to be there.

We bought 2 New York Strip steaks and cooked them on the grill with some Montreal steak seasoning on them and they came out great.

Very nice store, very delicious food. My friends recommend me to order Thanksgiving diner, they mentioned they usually call instead placing order online.. now I know why...I spent 3 days to order a dinner. Very nice website, very nice pictures of food and easy to find, but, absolutely not possible pay for the dinner. I added to cart, then I was asked for location, then it moved me at the beginning, and hundred times like that. It is sad, I an very busy to call or shows up..

My boyfriend Mark worked there for year. Recently our family has been going through something horrible to which our living arrangements are uncertain from week to week. We are currently in monroeville pa. The busses don't run good. And my car is gone the engine went. He went faithfully to work even when we had to stay in west va. ( that's why my car is done!). So now we are in monroeville the bus don't run good. Especially at night and on the weekends. He told them that if he misses the last bus he'll have to stay downtown until the next morning. They continue to schedule him to close on the weekends. They told him if he calls off they would fire him. So on Sunday 10/8/2023. He called in to say he'd be in a little late because we had a huge emergency. They said they needed him in sooner. He got his jacket on to leave and ended up having 2 seizures back to back from the stress of what was happening.. when he went to work on 10/11/23 they told him he was fired because he called off on Sunday. He didn't call off on Sunday. He had 2 seizures and they know he has seizures. They saw the the new fresh scars on his face. And still said he was fired for calling off. But he DIDN'T CALL OFF!!!!. We have a young son and our daughter is in the hospital for CF. And they just FIRED HIM! Wow!!!

Wonderful store but can be expensive. The sales and deals are very good. You have to watch what you buy that are not on sale or part of a meal deal.

For the Mt. Lebanon PA store - please find a way to manage the store better. The constant employee turnover, lack of stocking adequate supply of just about everything and the total deterioration of the meat department is driving people away. It's hard to be loyal to the store when every time I go in there, the shelves are bare, the meat hasn't been cut, nothing has been replenished, etc. The managers turn over every six months and I'm not even sure if there is one currently. It's such a shame. Other FM's are so much better. I love the store, the concept, the ease of shopping, the variety of specialty items, but I've had it.

Don't buy bakery products!Turnovers are very chewy as if they were microwaved. Muffins only have the flavoring on the top cap. I had the pistachio and they were only on the cap. What a ripoff. I bought blueberry scones, and once again - all six blueberry pieces were only on the outside. These are like buying a shiny new sports car and find that it has a puny 4 cylinder 100 HP engine. I learned my lesson. No more baked goods from Fresh Market.
