Friendly staff. I've never had to wait in line very long to get my prescriptions. I would give 10 stars if I could. So much better than any chain pharmacy.

Yes, CVS is huge. Walgreens is enormous. Even so, when you need a speciality prescription or durable medical good, Sloan's Pharmacy is your place. My mom needed a very specific type of bandage. I knew I could get it for her at Sloan's. No, they didn't have it in stock - it was so specialized I didn't expect them to - but they ordered it that day and I had it three days later. They called me when it came in and had everything including my invoice pulled up so all I had to do was grab the box, sign my name and head on my way. A few weeks ago, my dad had an uncommon prescription. CVS pointed him to Sloan's who, of course, had it in stock and waiting for him by the time he walked to the counter. What I find fun at Sloan's is all of the candy - my old favorites, Mallow Cups and Beechnut gum were there as were other new and vintage candy, mints and gum. I could see myself getting into trouble if I had to wait too long for a script. Sloan's takes most insurance plans including my out of state plan. For durable medical goods, they will submit the claim for you and bill for the difference. They also offer delivery which I appreciate for my elderly parents. Every employee I interacted with was friendly and helpful. It was a nice change from that big box pharmacy down the road.

Can’t ever fill the simplest of scripts. Never have anything I need without ordering. Customer service is unbelievably rude when it’s their mess up They refuse to fix and make right. I thought CVS was bad! Ugh Never again.

Sloans has an awesome selection of gifts and decor. Their pharmacy techs are second to none. What a great treasure in both Manheim and Elizabethtown….. shop small ❤️

I've switched over to SLOAN'S pharmacy in Mount Joy from CVS in Mount Joy! I find them to be very helpful and kind in my experiences! CVS pharmacy has a pharmacy crew that is extremely rude! The store clerks are overworked yet friendly and helpful!

I just switched to Sloan's Pharmacy in Mount Joy. I love that I can support my local businesses where they know me by name, rather than be just another customer in a large chain store! The prices for my prescriptions were right in line with what I had been paying. Store is pleasant with lots of unexpected gift items, too!
