I just bought a commercial service body truck at Routemaster. I was a little concerned that there wasn't a small warranty included. Zach reassured me that I was getting a quality used truck that was thoroughly serviced. The truck runs great and I had a good experience buying from him. Would recommend Routemaster to anyone looking for a used commercial work truck.

As a soon to be first time client of Routemaster, I understand there may be COVID related delays, or possible lack of staff, I make sure to continue communication if I truly want to purchase something, I’ve had no issue getting in touch with staff. Deposit; thank goodness for it, I applaud Routemaster for honoring my deposit, regardless of whom and how much is offered for the vehicle I’ve chosen. I would respect the “deposit terms” if I was on the opposite side of the situation. They’ve been straight shooters with me, and I plan to continue business with them in future years!

Poorly run business, terrible customer service, misleading conversations, inability to return phone calls. Contacted Routemaster with high interest in vehicle on lot. From the start was difficult to contact the company. Told to come to site with cash and vehicle would be held. Upon arrival after 2 hour drive, was told vehicle was promised to different customers and were asked to leave. Disgusting. Avoid at all costs.

Zach apparently does not know how to return calls. I left a FB Message about a truck - got a generic “call this number” response. Called number in Saturday to no prevail. Got a response Monday about someone else being interested. Called to see more info Zach said he would call back after he talked to the other customer. Never heard from Zach and called back twice Monday to hear news and again Tuesday Morning. No response either time. I was a cash buyer with cash in hand, so I went to the location myself to see what the deal was, once I arrived I was informed that the other guy “just put a deposit down”, seems like a likely story for someone that can’t seem to call back. If you’re looking for a car from Routemaster - call plenty of times to get them on the phone.

We have purchased 3 trucks from Routemasters and have been very satisfied with the quality of the vehicles and the service provided. Their inventory uniquely aligns with our needs for construction. Buyer beware. Tried to buy a van from out of state based off an eBay classifieds listing. Talked with Zach beforehand and was given plenty of verbal assurances of the road worthiness (lesson learned). Went ahead and purchased the vehicle. Then, it began. All of a sudden the shipping cost changed (one business day later). Next, when we received the vehicle, the diesel fuel tank had a massive leak such that it would not hold any fuel. When talking with Zach, he asked: “Did you poke it?” No, I had not poked the fuel tank. It was rusted out. I was willing to call this an expensive test drive and put it back on the truck to ship it back to Mount Joy, but Zach insisted on his no return policy. To be fair, he did provide a $1,000 credit to go toward the repair of the fuel tank....but that credit was by no means even enough to cover half the job. Now I got the van out of the shop and have driven it for all of two weeks, and am currently writing this review while the van is getting diagnosed for a blown head gasket. This, after the breakdown on the side of the road and a tow. I get that used vehicles are used vehicles but to literally have to drive a vehicle off of the delivery truck to a mechanic’s shop and calling that “roadworthy” is unfair.Bottomline, this has been my worst vehicle purchase I have experienced. I have learned a lesson, and I wanted to share my experience because I would STRONGLY encourage any long distance buyers to avoid doing business here. Go check out the vehicle first hand. Do not skip that step as you really are in a “buyer beware” situation.

Routemaster goes the extra mile to stand behind their sales. We bought a used Prius from them and barely got it home when the check engine light came on. The sales manager told us to take the vehicle to a mechanic of our choice since we were over an hours drive away. He then personally spoke to our mechanic, arranged to have the necessary part delivered (which would have cost us around $600!) and covered the labor costs.It's worth pointing out that not only did they fix the problem, they made the extra effort to minimize the inconvenience to us by working with our local mechanic. Both speak volumes for the integrity of Route-master.

Zack at Routemaster is great to work with! They made the buying process easy and painless! Even after we decided to exchange the first van we bought for a larger one, (the very next day), he didn't even skip a beat. He just exchanged them and we were back to work. Zach and Travis both were exceptional at finding me the right van and working with my price range. They had a lot of inventory to choose from and it was all high quality. It was nice to find a company that specializes in commercial work vehicles because they knew the ins-and-outs of their inventory. It was definitely an easier process than spending hours searching through craigslist or other sites trying to find a reliable rust-free vehicle that was clean and mechanically sound. Will choose Routemasters again.
