It was great for my wife and I to stay at the Olde Square Inn in Mount Joy. It was a joy. The breakfast was great. There was always coffee available. I enjoyed the "faux fireplaces" too.

We had a wonderful experience at the Old Square Inn. From the moment we arrived, Nancy made us feel right at home. The accommodations were lovely and the breakfast was out of this world. We will be coming back for years to come. Thank you Nancy!!

A truly lovely experience for our anniversary/Valentine's Day! Nancy is wonderful. She made our trip extra special with her delicious breakfasts. She was also very helpful offering things to do all around the area. The building is very clean, cozy, and accommodating and has a fascinating history. It's within walking distance to Bube's brewery which offers cool and unique dining options and entertainment.

Been wanting to write this review since we visited Nancy in May. We got home and things got really busy.Anyway. We went on a family road trip and stayed two nights and three days in the Olde Square Inn. Nancy is an excellent host and chef.My three young adult children and I stayed on the third floor suite. Very spacious, clean, comfortable and homey. My father who is handicap and my stepmother stayed in the cottage. The cottage was very accommodating for my father since he has a hard time climbing stairs. They both loved that it was a very private space, clean, comfortable and very homey as well. Nancy's breakfast were very delicious and the best part of it all was the breakfast dessert. I felt spoiled. It was nice to be served such amazing food.Nancy is very easy to talk to. She shared some suggestions of where to shop and eat. The pool area was very quiet and serene. We were able to take a refreshing dip and lounge around poolside. She also made sure we had clean linen daily and with our permission tidied up our suite.This was my families first B & B experience. Nancy did an awesome job and we would definitely do more B & B's. I would 100% recommend The Olde Square Inn. If we ever get another chance to visit Mount Joy, PA we will definetly stay here.Rooms: Nancy had water, coffee, tea and a snack in the suite for us to enjoy.

We stayed over the Labor Day Weekend. We had the entire 3rd Floor Suite. The King Bed and linens were SO comfortable, and we went out on the 2nd Floor Deck one night just to chillax. Nancy greeted us upon arrival with a GREAT white wine. Now, onto THE breakfasts: they're 3 course, homemade delicious feasts. We were SO full we could not possibly even THINK about lunch. Nancy thinks of everything, from the warming tray for the tea & coffee mugs, to the covered bridge tour you can do in less than an hour around the area, to the recommends for supper. The dining options around the neighborhood are plentiful, and we were not disappointed, especially at Harvey's BBQ and Mosby's Pub, literally right down the road. The next best amenity is the nice pool in the relaxing backyard. It's perfect with the lounge chairs, pool 'noodles' and pretty gardens surrounding it. 'Chad the Pool Guy' was a hit when he was there - ask Nancy about Chad! I laughed so hard, and got a photo op with him. The homey atmosphere and Nancy's graciousness made it hard to leave, and we met very nice folks who were guests as well.

We had an absolutely delightful stay at the Olde Square Inn while we were visiting central PA last week. Nancy is a wonderful host, always ready with a smile or a helpful suggestion about things to do in the area, and her breakfasts are outstanding. The Inn itself is beautiful: our family of four was very comfortable in the 3rd-floor suite, which was immaculate and spacious, and we thoroughly enjoyed the outdoor seating areas and the pool. We will definitely visit again!

We stayed in the third floor suite which was fantastic. It has a two person jetted tub, a smart TV, a king and a queen size bed, a mini fridge/Keurig area, and an electric fireplace for cooler evenings or just some ambiance.The owner, Nancy, is wonderful. She has great knowledge of the surrounding areas and things to do, see, eat and shop for. Each morning at breakfast she'd ask us what we got into the day before and what we had planned for the day. She even called an antique shop we wanted to return to, before leaving the area, to find out if they were open because it was New Year's Day. She took it upon herself to do this while we ate the first course of our breakfast, and while she was preparing our second course. Her hospitality is superb, as is her cooking. Because our stay was over New Year's, we did not get to dine outside or use the pool at all, but we enjoyed ourselves so much, that we are planning to return in warmer months to try those out.Rooms: The room we stayed in was beautiful and spacious. It had an electric fireplace, a smart TV, a large jetted tub and a mini fridge among other amenities.Walkability: My husband and I loved the walkability of the area. There are multiple food and drink venues with great reviews within walking distance. There are also shops and historic buildings to check out. There's even a dinner theater type place a few blocks away (about a ten min walk). We felt safe walking the streets at night, even on a temperate, rainy night in January.Food & drinks: The food served for breakfast at the inn was fantastic! Our compliments to Nancy!Also, the nearby bars and restaurants had great food and reasonable prices at most places.

Our innkeeper Nancy was such a joy to have! From day one of our stay she welcomed my family and I with open arms and cooked top-notch breakfasts that we thoroughly enjoyed. We stayed in the suite on the third floor and the room was clean and comfortable. I highly recommend the Old Square Inn for your stay if you are in or around the area. This bed and breakfast provides a caring and pleasant atmosphere that you don't find often.Rooms: The rooms are comfortable and clean!Food & drinks: Nancy's breakfast spread is well-worth the money and delicious! She takes pride and puts a great amount of effort into her cooking.

As everyone else said, Nancy was awesome. The second floor balcony and pool were nice places to relax. Super clean place and a great weekend.Nearby activities: The Catecombs was a fun underground restaurant experience.

If you are staying in the Mount Joy area look no further. The Old Square Inn is the absolute best place to stay! Nancy, the Inn Owner, is an exceptional person. She goes out of her way from making the divinely delicious three course breakfast to making sure your every need is met! Accommodations are great. The beautiful swimming pool, in season, is a real plus. We can’t wait to return! Do yourself a favor and make reservations!

I came from NJ to visit my daughter who attends Elizabethtown College for a little relaxing mother/daughter weekend. Nancy was so warm and welcoming from the second we walked in the door! Our room was so quaint and very clean. We enjoyed spending time walking around and checking out the local shops, grabbing a bite to eat then retiring back to our cozy room for some movie watching. Breakfast the next morning was absolutely delicious! It was exactly the relaxing weekend we both needed to recharge and we are looking forward to visiting again. Thanks to Nancy for her gracious hospitality!

Wonderful weekend trip. We saw Lady Gaga in Hershey, but that was only one good part of it. Old Square Inn was fantastic! Very clean, quiet, excellent food, sweet location for strolling or taking a ride to Hershey or Lilitz. The pool was refreshing, and Nancy (our host) was simply perfect! Can't wait to go again!

Me and my fiancé stayed here on Sunday night and we absolutely loved it. The room was absolutely beautiful and everything was so comfortable (the bed and sofa). Nancy is an absolutely amazing host she is so sweet and the breakfast is out of this world. I highly recommend staying here.
