Called around because I needed a part put on my car for a decent price. I contacted interstate and they said they would have no problem putting it on for me at a reasonable price. I was very happy with service and was done in a few days.

Keith at Interstate Service Center knows how to keep my 10 year old Subaru running like a champ! They even buffed my headlights twice now, within the past few years, to save me from having to buy new ones which are extremely expensive. If you’re looking for a reputable place that provides fantastic service for a reasonable price this is the place to go! You will not be disappointed. ?

Keith is the point man and main communicator at this garage. My car had several warning lights come on at once. Was told I needed a new part. Total job would cost 3 GRAND!! This is for a brand new part and labor. The cost is the cost so that wasn't the issue. But after some research I found another option. I could get the part repaired for less than $300. I called Keith (excitedly about this option) and asked him if he could take the part out and plug it back in after its repaired. Obviously I would pay for this labor. And the repair shop guarantees a 5 day turn around.Keith gave me a sigh and said "then the car would have to sit here." Yes the car would sit for about a week. Granted there is a huge parking lot area that will fit my small sedan. He said he "had to think about it" and would call me back.I never received a call back. Just a random text asking how the service was for diagnosing the problem which cost me over $150.Again the cost is the cost for things. But if there is a chance for me to save thousands of dollars and for the garage to not want to help me out. That speaks volumes.I called 2 other garages the next day and they were happy to accommodate, no problem.

This place I am sure does great services! But be really careful they’ll spend your money, I took my car there and they told me two different things needed repaired to pass inspection. Took it to another garage and they passed it saved me $500 or so!!

Ladies, beware.I took my car there once for inspection and had no issues. Needed some rear brakes and rotors. Left happy.That was six months ago, and just this past week my car started throttling oddly. Since it’s still under CarMax warranty, I wanted to get it in with a warranty-compliant garage, but couldn’t get into for a couple weeks, so I took it back to Interstate Service Center thinking if it was a repair less than my deductible of $500, I’d just go ahead and do it.They ran a diagnostic and called me to let me know what was up - a repair that came to the tune of $540, ALONG WITH a whole other list of *strongly recommended* repairs including front brakes and rotors, all of which together totaled just shy of $1100.It felt like a lot for what I suspected was wrong and regular service that the car needed immediately. I asked him to charge me for the diagnostic and said I’d pick my car up later to take it to the warranty garage.He sounded a bit irritated, so I asked him if it were possible to take care of the map sensor and throttle valve control issues first and do the brakes in a month or so. His response was “you don’t have a month, I wouldn’t pass it on inspection, you shouldn’t even be driving it like this.”I thanked him for his time, paid for the diagnostic and picked up my car.Fast forward to two days later, at a different garage - all of the issues fixed for $442 - less than my deductible. I asked them to check the front brakes as the previous mechanic had told me they weren’t drivable.The mechanic kindly let me know that his recommendation was to “do the brakes with my next oil change in 1500 miles.”It’s disheartening to learn someone is lying to you in the interest of making a buck off of you, to say the least.

Contacted interstate at the end of the day after catching a nail in my tire on my way home from work. They were closing in less than 30 minutes but still took me in and helped me out. Very prompt service and very customer oriented. Definitely will be going back for other services on my vehicles.
