They are closed. The bar was nice, the food wasn't great. They are closed, but from what I hear they probably wont re-open because the owner owns several other buildings in Mount Holly that are not empty, seems this place is destined to follow suit.

The restaurant closed in July, 2019. We were told they were renovating and reopening with a new owner. It is now November 2019 and it is still closed. When we asked when it would reopen, we were told they don’t know.

Loved it! Hands down a very pleasant and warm stay! We are hiking the AT, was picked up by owner and brought in and made to feel welcome even though we were wet and with a wet service dog. Clean and pleasant room, great host and staff. tavern and resturaunt has 5 star quality food that was very affordable. Exemplary professionalism.

Interesting stop for me alonng a route I used to frequent. Sometimes busy, sometimes not so much. Anyway, I have had several meals here with satisfactory memories.

Wasn't sure the place was open, the sign was lit but no cars in lot. Walked in and the waitress said have a seat where ever we would like. It was 4 of us. I was kind of optimistic due to no one there but the food was fantastic. We all had cream of crab, which was very good. I had a sirloin/baked potato, my husband and father had salmon/baked potato, my mother had a turkey club. Everyone said their food was delicious. Thr waitress was very nice and kind of funny. I will go back and try something else.

Quaint little place in holly spring that takes you back 100 years to the days where life was much simpler. If you are in the area perhaps you can stop in. We had a group here today and enjoyed a breakfast duing our discussion. I hope we can find the opportunity to come bavk again.

We attended a wedding party and the hospitality staff couldn’t have been any better. Wow I think they were the best I have ever seen. 100% recommend them.

Looked like all owners brought anything they didn’t want at home...and displayed it in the restaurant. Dirty feel...food not fresh...frozen. Not cooked well. May try it again...if new owner does better.

Our family of six enjoyed a wonderful Easter Buffet today, April 21st. The food was outstanding, a great selection, and very tasty. Service was very friendly and efficient. All served at a reasonable price. Highly recommend!
