I can’t say enough about Joe Stutz and his staff. Our family suffered the loss of both our Mom and Dad within a 3 week period. Joe assisted us each step of the way and provided a very personal and comforting environment for our family. We had several extenuating circumstances that needed to be addressed in order for our Dad to attend our Mom’s service. Joe went above and beyond to provide the necessary accommodations. He was and continues to be available to answer the many questions that have come up through this process.If you are looking for a professional and family focused personal experience, the Stutz Funeral Home is the place. Joseph J Stutz Funeral Home arranged cremation services for my Mother in early 2020 and their work was thorough and extremely professional. Due to Covid burial of her cremains was postponed and Stutz Funeral Home provided secure storage for them. My Dad recently passed away and the Stutz Funeral Home once again provided our family with outstanding personal and professional services. I live 400 miles away from Mount Carmel but they took care of every detail of removing Dad’s remains from the nursing home and making arrangements for his cremation. Joe and his team also helped arrange a Celebration of Life Ceremony for Mother and Dad at Hope Community Church. Stutz Funeral Home made a beautiful display of their Cremains surrounded by flowers and Chris created a digital slideshow of Family pictures to play during the service. Joe also scheduled interment for Mother and Dad at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery with full Military Honors because Dad was a WWll Veteran.I highly recommend Stutz Funeral Home for their superb professional services. Every Detail of my parents Funeral was considered and taken care of in advance making their joint funeral a smoothly executed event. I was very pleased with how easy Joe and his staff made the process of planning my mother's funeral. They thought of everything and took care of every detail down to picking out the casket spray which was beautiful. Definitely recommend them.

Mr. Stutz was a kind and comforting presence as we planned our father’s funeral. He handled everything — even going out of his way to help us find dad’s pre-purchased funeral plot. Truly, he treated us as if we were his own family and we couldn’t be more thankful. Don’t waste your time or money in your time of grief by looking elsewhere — Stutz is the best choice you can make.

We used Stutz’s funeral home for my father in law’s service and highly recommend them. The home was beautiful for the viewing and Joe was wonderful to work with. It was obvious he actually cared about our family. The service was very organized and they were on the ball with the coordination. Thank you for being so great to us during a very difficult time.

My family and I will forever be grateful for Joe and Stutz’s funeral home. I had called Joe after we were already planning my father’s service elsewhere and had a terrible experience. Losing a family member is already such a hard thing to go through, so finding someone who is so kind and helpful (and doesn’t take advantage of you) while planning the funeral is so nice. I can’t even explain how wonderful Joe was to us. He went above and beyond to help us and was so kind and patient every step of the way. I always imagined getting phone calls from a funeral home while planning my father’s service would be nerve wracking and sad, but I actually felt peaceful and cared for when Joe called. He took such great care of us and my dad and helped in so many ways. As for the service itself, everything was extremely professional and organized. The day went so smoothly and we didn’t even have to think. I already told him multiple times directly, but Joe really is the best. Joe and everyone at Stutz’s - thank you again for being so wonderful to me and my family.

I can't say enough how amazing Joe and his team was!! They went above and beyond planning my grandfather's funeral! They did a fabulous job coordinating with the VA and police force and spent alot of attention to every detail! They did an incredible job! Perfect location and very professional staff! I very highly recommend them!

I was very impressed with Stutz' Funeral Home! Joe and Chris immediately made my family feel at ease and taken care of. All of the staff did an amazing job and showed genuine compassion for my family. They made the difficult process of planning a funeral for a loved one easier. They were kind, respectful, happy to answer questions and help in any way needed. We truly felt cared about and that my fathers passing and funeral arrangements were just as important to them, as it was to us!
