“this is such an amazing place to go. beautiful surroundings. fresh made foods, high quality ingredient. all the foods have a quinquennial flavor, the pizza is amazing the crust is perfect and the flavors are a treat. the price is higher but you will not get a cheap tasting pizza either, this is gourmet pizza. if you are a foodie like myself try the pepper and onions pizza my favorite. they have sausage and ham that also has a unique twist added to your morning omelette or egg sandwich, to spice things up. i love their subs I have had the turkey amazing from the best bread and meat to the fresh lettuce tom and onions, also love the Italian subs as well. this place has always been clean and they have the best bagels in town.”

“In the realm of deli wizards, Zach reigns supreme, a maestro of meat and cheese. In my culinary escapades, I've encountered many, but none match Zach's virtuosity in the delicate art of slicing. You see, my dear reader, there exists a deceptive fraternity of deli clerks who, with practiced deceit, claim that they've reached the zenith of thinness in their slicing endeavors. They utter sweet untruths, assuring you that "this is as thin as it gets." Alas, it is but a charade, a deceitful dance with deli destiny.Enter Zach, the luminary of the deli counter at Wies Market. With his skilled hands, he wields the blade like a surgeon, slicing meats and cheeses so diaphanous, they practically levitate. Thin, nay, ethereal, are the slices that emerge from his capable hands. He does not dabble in deception; he deals in delicious truth.Oh, how many times has Zach, the deli virtuoso, saved me from the fiery gaze of my formidable mother-in-law! It is with his impeccable slices that I return home, bearing gifts of paper-thin cheese, the very embodiment of delicacy. No longer must I endure the fiery reprimands for my past thick-cheese transgressions. In the hallowed halls of Wies Market, let it be known that Zach is not merely a deli clerk; he is an artisan, a savior, and a guardian of gastronomic grace. His prowess deserves recognition beyond measure, and a raise, my friends, is but a humble beginning. It is time to herald Zach as the Deli Dionysus, the slicer of dreams, and the savior of suppers.”

“Always great deals at Aldi! Better fruits on weekdays. They have everything from fruits to frozen foods. I love the seasonal sections, they always have fun surprises. I wish they would have more organic foods and meats. Great nut selection as well.I also support that they make you return your carts back if you like your coin back. More steps for us!”

“I was passing through Pen Argyl; needed to get fuel and wanted breakfast. Pulled into the Turkey Hill on 512 (near Weona Park). The Sunday Morning worker was exceptionally friendly and helpful. Didn't get his name but he had long hair, necklace......I asked about coffee location and breakfast sandwiches; he was intent on getting me hooked up and on my way!!!! Will definitely return to this Turkey Hill when I go through Pen Argyl again!!(My only disappointment is Cumberland Farms coffee. This is common in south Florida, especially the Cumberland Farms fuel stations. I can't drink that coffee; even the 'strongest' blend is like tea!!! Yuck.I thought Turkey Hill had their own push; I guess not.I like strong black coffee and if it doesn't 'curl my hair', I can't drink it).”

“Store is very large and very clean. Giant is related to the Stop and Shop I'm used to in CT, MA, RI. Their app is written similar to S&S so if you are familiar with one, you'll figure out the other.Giant uses their own loyalty rewards card. Can't use S&S card at Giant. Prices seem to be high but there are many specials that need to be loaded onto their card.”

“People complain about how you need a membership to get gas here. Why would people think that you wouldn't need to be a member, it's a wholesale club! This location has the most inexpensive gas for miles around. If you go during off peak hours, there's barely a line.”

“I want to give a shout out to pen argyl pa dollar general for one of the best employees of any store I met today that worked there, his name was Jorge and was wonderful. Not only did he rush over to open the door for me, he was pleasant and personable. He offered the girl in front of me to carry her stuff to her car it was bulky and heavy. The girl said it was ok she could carry it out and he actually told me he felt bad that he couldn’t help her because of how bad the weather was. I was short on my money and I was asking him to take off something. He refused and took it out if his pay. He said merry Christmas and paid it. He is a young guy with a Heart of gold that deserves recognition and made what has been a very depressing month due to my son being in a coma after a seizure and going into cardiac arrest. Jorge made me smile. What a wonderful kid with a great positive energy.”

“Pretty much what you are looking for can be found there - of course, if it’s related to what they manage - but pretty much anything. Staff is helpful with most able to direct or take to to the exact location where the item you were looking for had you walk the entire store. Like magic, you ask and you are either escorted to the location or given clear instructions”

“Little known secret, or at least it was to me that every time you shop at Weis you build up points and when you scan your wife's card at the gas station you can save 3040 $.60 per gallon and that adds up so I definitely encourage using the Weis gas station service...?”

“Our family has a membership at this BJ's and we shop here almost every week. Their prices are fair and they have tons of coupons in their circular that make their prices well worth the cost of membership. The store is well kept and they have quality stock. Members can also get gas here at a discounted rate which is a nice perk.”

“I don't normally rate grocery stores, but the Weis in Pen Argyl is pretty great! It's a smaller Weis, but everyone is extremely helpful. The prices are always affordable and the produce is high quality.”

“Nice Weis location. It's really clean and mostly easy to navigate.Their Deli is very good, and the hot food is actually incredible. Some of the best fried chicken you'll ever get.Sometimes their veggie selection is limited, they go out of stock of some stuff later in the evening in my experience, so if you're shopping for fresh produce try to get in earlier.Their gluten free selection is a bit limited compared to other places i've shopped and if you're looking for that, Giant seems to have a better selection. Especially if you're worried about cross contamination and need clear labels. Weis tends to throw Gluten free tags on stuff that isn't clearly labelled as gluten free on the package, so be cautious and double check.Staff is very friendly and helpful, went out of their way to help us find products and navigate the store..Pharmacy is good. Staff is nice. Have gotten prescriptions here and got my COVID Vaccines here and never had any problems.Their beer and wine section is about the same as any other grocery store in the area, so you should be able to find what you need.”

“Was in town to celebrate Thanksgiving to celebrate with friends and family and we went to Walmart but there were closed so we went shop rite supermarket here instead, The clerks by the name Michelle and Brayden was really helpful, there made us feel very comfortable and family-like and I was able to use a coupon while I was checking out at the cash wrap-register area. two thumbs up. we had the choice to go to the Giant supermarket I'm glad we came here instead . two thumbs up. my mother likes ShopRite I know there is a shop rite in Brooklyn, NY near Gateway mall and a next shop rite on Mcdonald Avenue. this shop rite was two thumbs up ......everyone was really helpful !!!! P.S. I bought some stuff over from NY to P.A. from family dollar stores in NYC but it wasn't enough I'm glad this supermarket was open on thanksgiving day, we had the chance to pick up last-minute items at the supermarket!!!!!, there very similar to Wesis supermarket or Giant supermarket”

“They were so professional, and so helpful, they assisted me in signing up for good RX, which definitely saves me money on certain prescriptions that I normally go to CVS for.If you looking for an alternative to your normal pharmacy or just looking to switch, I'd suggest giving this location with this pharmacist and staff a chance. They certainly helped me and I am grateful.”
