“I walked into what I will call AFROCENTRIC HEAVEN! I walked out looking like an African Queen! This Boutique has custom made dresses pants, tops, and the best accessories. The owner is a master seamstress and will custom make whatever you desire. I would give her 10 stars if I could ! Stay tuned because I will be adding photos after my event!!”
“This place is such a treasure!! Here you will find great people and a fun store with reasonable prices for fashionable clothing, hip accessories and must-have candles, chocolates, and unique housewares. Not only are they a local business worth supporting, but they themselves go out of their way to source cool items from other local providers. Oh, and did I mention the sewing?! They have super popular sewing classes and camps. If I could give them ten stars, I would!!”
“Great experience today at Elizabeth Maar in Haverford. I have recently changed sizes and am not yet fully comfortable- did not know what look I was going for but i wanted updated clothing. The staff and owners were so helpful and fun; they helped me pick out a few new things and pushed my comfort zone but without being pushy. There is a reason they have been in business this long.”

“I highly recommend Stupp Furs in Haverford. Hal, his staff and family members that work there are all highly professional, friendly and their knowledge of furs and the fur industry is unsurpassed. I took my beautiful fur lined silk coat that was given to me by my mother to Stupp Furs, after being told by several other fur repair shops that the coat was ruined and nothing could be done. Actually the value and condition of the coat wasn’t the greatest and was worsened by sitting at a theater on a seat the had lots of popcorn butter on it, leaving a big stain in the back. Hal was very honest with me regarding being able to make the coat look wearable again. I told him of the sentimental value that it had to me because I remembered my mother wearing the coat. He said he would do everything that he could to see if it could be cleaned and repaired. He also agreed it was a beautiful vintage classic coat. He told me he was going to send it out to their repair shop. Two weeks later he called and said my coat was back and to stop by. When I got there he said they said getting the butter out of the silk was made worst when I tried to clean it off with water before I first took it in. So he said let me think about this. I have so ideas that just might work. So I said try anything, I love my coat. Three months later I received I call to come pick up my beautiful coat! I was so happy. Hal said that’s what we like, to make our clients happy! So I decided to put my coat in storage with them. AND I ALSO FOUND ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL CASHMERE COAT WITH FUR ON THE INSIDE TO WHERE THIS COMING WINTER SEASON! What a GREAT PLACE WITH Impeccable, customer service, and more!A.G. Fletcher”
“You can judge a store when you have gone through a complex tangled mess with them, and still have a good experience. I bought a highly coveted patagonia jacket from their online store, but the last jacket in size M had been sold on the floor right as I purchased it online. After using the wrong credit card, a new jacket in size L, two credit card charges that couldn't be refunded -- I have to say they were incredibly professional and responsive. The least I can do is write a glowing review because not every store has good customer service, that are able to follow the tangled thread that ended up with my purchase and still leave a good impression on me. I will be shopping here online again.”

“This my store to hit up for my work clothes when I miss putting my work clothes in the cleaners, and they got a nice selection of items for my size( I'm fluffy fun size 5"ft bout 170-190) also there plus size selection isn't chintzy they have a great selection of Clothes, now they shoe department is another story I never find my size 6 shoes but I do find shoes on their website. This is what I grabbed today.two white shirts,two one piece camisoles black and white i got em cause my shirts are kinda sheer and I don't like showing my burgers and rolls? another pair of black pants and a black bra, plus Im waiting for my stuff I ordered off the website last nite,I think I found a couple pairs of shoes for like 5 dollars and another white top.”

“We were immediately greeted by friendly staff. After our early appointment was cancelled due to a power outage, we took our chances to just walk in browse the dresses after having lunch at Terrain. Alison gladly made time for our group, was friendly, courteous, and discussed the overall plan for trying on dresses with enthusiasm and having the bride-to-be as the main focus. She read the room very well, helping narrow the focus and ultimately led to a successful dress buying experience. The prices and quality were great. Other staff chimed in so nicely, peeking around the corner, smiling and were kind and encouraging, giving compliments to our bride to be. I really enjoyed the afternoon at Anthropologie Weddings. “Over the weekend, my husband and I were wandering around Suburban Square and decided to pop into this shop on a whim. I had to write a review because it was truly a delightful experience. I have recently become disgruntled with shopping for clothes, finding that quality has become so poor . This boutique is an absolute gem--I walked out with a gorgeous Scottish cashmere sweater, Italian wool jacket and high end jeans, all an amazing fit and highest quality. A couple of the brands were unfamiliar to me, so I looked them up online and was even more impressed when I learned more about these companies. The owner of the shop has a real eye for quality. I honestly can't remember the last time I had this much fun shopping for clothes.”

“This is a very nice thrift that is black-owned and woman-owned in West Philly. I found they had a nice selection of items and it was well-lit and clean. They had a variety of things they were selling including clothing, shoes, furniture and various other knick-knacks. The owner was nice enough to provide information when I asked about the prices, and I'm excited to return when I have more time on my hands!”
“I visited this boutique while visiting my friend who lives in Philly, and they had many beautiful things! The sales consultant who helped us told is that the owners are greek and try to incorporate the beauty and colors of their culture into the items they sell. I would say that they do a good job. I was shopped out for the day, but my friend purchased her weight in purses and jewelry. We were really attracted to some of their summer items, but unfortunately they did not have our sizes! I would definitely give this shop a visit for some beautiful Philly keepsakes!”
