I had Hagerty's BLT also and it was great.The owner is a very nice young man and it feels good to patronize a local mom and pop shop”

“If you don't know about the Marcus Hook deli 3 dollar Italian hoagie special you're missing out. Lunch meat is always fresh and lunch meat prices are great. The last time I went in they had a eagles game day special and an eagle special day after a win for lunch meats and cheeses.”

I moved from out of state and some of the places I have been so far were not as friendly as I am used to. So it was really nice to see he was interested in his customers and friendly. “I rarely go to this gas station, mainly because the gas prices are astronomically higher than the gas I get where I live, but I stopped in today to try their Krispy Krunchy Chicken. I'd been wondering about it for a while, and I needed a quick lunch today, so I finally got around to checking it out. Overall, it's not bad grub at all for a gas station. The chicken legs that I got were pretty small but they were juicy and had a nice crust on them. The sides were okay - the red beans and rice had a nice enough flavor to them but I liked the mac and cheese better - the pasta was cooked well and the cheese sauce was pretty good. Like the gas though, my meal (which also came with a fountain soda) was on the expensive side - a little over 11 bucks. Royal Farms is on the expensive side too, but at least you get more food for the money. That said, I'll probably stop in again sometime if I need a quick lunch.”

“Went here a few weeks ago with my boyfriend to get hoagies because he says they have some of the best there are. We both got turkey and cheese hoagies and I will say they are some really good hoagies, I would definitely recommend hoagies from here and I would definitely come back again for a good hoagie. The store as a whole is very nice convenience store and has a good selection of products too including their own brand of ice cream, the store is very well organized and clean too.”

“Aside from having the essentials in stock at Overbrook Food Market, they serve hot food. The first thing I've tried is an egg and cheese sandwich on a round roll. I'm from New York and hold a high standard for these kinds of sandwiches. I have to tell you, the ones they make here are quite possibly the best...EVER. Super buttery, the cheese and eggs are nice and soft and mixed well together, and the roll tastes very fresh. I can't wait to try some home fries or grits or something with the sandwich next time! I included a photo of the gorgeous sandwich here so you could see it in all of its glory. :)”

“This small convenience store is atypical Philadelphia Poppy store. The prices are very reasonable and they have a vast selection of everyday kitchen and food items. They have a Grill and deep fryer which pump out excellent food. The portions are not large but the prices are extremely low. A 12in Cheesesteak is $4. The owner is very friendly and courteous. There are four or five stores just like this one in the immediate area and this one exceeds my standards. I prefer to give this store all of my business.”

I witnessed a customer ahead of me give attitude to the cashier and she didn't lose her cool and took care of him. She helped me next and was polite.
