I booked my car transport from NY to CA through a broker, Flix Auto. They were great, although I didn’t really understand the broker thing. I shipped a car before and the company i booked it with was the same company that picked up and shipped. This time was different and confused me a bit. The broker will find a shipper for you, arrange a price and set it up for shipping. The whole thing seemed strange to me as you pay on delivery and in cash. Seemed odd as in the past you pay before pickup. I didn’t have a huge budget to spend and they quoted me a good price so I booked it.Anyway, It was only when the driver arrived for pickup that I learned the shipping company was starway. (The broker has no more involvement at this point). The driver did arrive, loaded the car and went on his way.The next day I looked up starway and as you would expect I got super nervous and concerned from all the reviews. I was a nervous wreck for a week thinking about the car.On day 3 of transit I called to see if I get an update on the car and get the drivers phone number so I could check in with him. I was told the car was still expected on schedule and they would call me back with the drivers number. Never got the call.I called a different number the next day and got someone else who quickly just said to text him and he’ll find out. He did in fact text me back shortly after with the drivers name and number. The staff at starway don’t speak very good English at all so it’s kind of hard to speak with them so Mayby that’s why they’re eager to keep the calls short.A day before the scheduled delivery day I texted the driver as I was expecting a call from him the day before but didn’t hear from anyone. He said he would arrive in CA The next day but would be at night and would let me know. I stayed in touch with him the next day trying to get an ETA. Around 6pm he texted saying he would be arriving around 11pm. That’s really late for me as I get up very early for work, but I just wanted to get my car in my hands so I went with it.He arrived and my car was exactly as it left, huge relief. He got it off the truck, looked up my info on his phone, I paid him the agreed upon price (huge relief) and was glad it was over and all went well.So all said, they picked up my car, shipped it fast for a great price and it arrived safe. Customer service is a bit lacking, seems like they can’t wait to get you off the phone but all in all they did their job and I can’t really complain other than the week of sleepless nights reading the horror stories in the reviews. I’ll give them 3 stars for customer service since everything was ok other than that.Would I use them again? Prob not, I’d rather pay a few hundred bucks more for the peace of mind.

These people are dirty scumbags who endlessly lie and steal from customers. Starway Logistics should be permanently shut down and banned. They are the WORST company I've ever used.

Car was supposed to be delivered from NY to CA over two weeks ago. They told me it was in Nevada two weeks ago, then said it was in Oklahoma, now they are saying there is mechanical problem with the truck. Is there only one truck in this company? I still don't have the car and am thinking about reporting it stolen.

Stay away from this company. They over charge me 300.oo .not good people to do business with. Don't trust them. I can't believe they can be allowed to be in business. They pay no tax no paper trail. I made a big mistake getting them.

Worst company ever i got my car transported from . David increased the price last moment after conforming it for 1500$ . He then called me after 2 days and told me that its 1800$ . On top my pickup was delayed by 1 week. First they give me time for monday afternoon and then they stopped answering my call waited all day for them. I would recommend everyone to do the research before conforming your pickup with them.Very poor customer service

I was really afraid because of the reviews. I shipped my car from NJ to CA with a lot of my luggage. The car made it in 5 days and communication was great. All of my luggage was safe and the car made it in perfect condition.

I think it's really sad and pathetic how this company needs to create fake Google profiles to give their own company 5 star reviews. Let me be very clear when I say that this is the WORST company you will ever find. It's unbelievable how these scam artists are still in business. Conduct your business with these people at your own risk, because I can promise you that it'll become an absolute nightmare. These people give zero communication regarding the whereabouts of your vehicle, and they have a reckless history of damaging their customers' cars. If you decide to move forward with letting this company handle your vehicle, then GOOD LUCK! Expect the possibility of having to file a Police report for a missing/stolen car, because that's exactly what you'll get.

Timur was a great, friendly and very positive person to work with. He is trustworthy. My vehicle was delivered from Florida to Washington in a stress and worry free manner. If needed again I will definitely hire this company again.

I used Montway Auto Transport to ship my car from CA to NY, was given an ETA of 6-8 days after pickup. Vehicle was picked up on the 4th of July, ETA was 10-12th. Vehicle was held by Montway until the 14th before actually being transported across the country.After arrival in PA, the delivery was contracted out to Starway Logistics, located only 100 miles away from me. Yet the delivery was pushed back to the 21st, then 23rd, then 25th, and finally delivered on the 26th. I called Starway and explained how my delivery was already late because of Montways incompetence, hoping they would be sympathetic and possibly expedite it, and was met with hostility over the phone. Only positive thing was the vehicle finally arrived damage free.After multiple calls and complaints Montway made no effort to ensure I was satisfied. Starway could care less, they got paid.

In July 2018 I relocated to Hawaii and paid Starway LogisticS LLC to ship by truck my Jeep Cherokee from Brooklyn, NY to the Maddson’s Port in Long Beach California. My contract allowed for me to ship it with up to 100 pounds of personal items. So my family packed the things I would need to sustain me for my yearlong stay which included my tailored clothing, shoes, jewlry, camera equipment, printer, gifts from my family and family momentous. When I picked up my car from the post, ALL of my $10,000 of possessions were missing.When I contacted Starway Logistics LLC, they tried to tell me That Maddson threw my items in the trash. MaddSon who’s is a reputable company refused to accept my car for shipment with personal items as per their policy, and turned the driver away. When the driver returned with my car, he dilivered empty. No one from Starway Logistics LLC contacted me to alert me that my possessions in the car were removed by the driver. No one contacted me to let me know where my belongings had been stored. No one from Starway Logistics asked me how I’d like to have my belongings shipped to me in Hawaii. They just allowed their trucker to steal, or dump $10,000 of my possessions, some of which were irreplaceable, like it was nothing. In fact, when I spoke to the manager there to get more information concerning my loss, he abruptly stated that he doed not care about my missing possessions, and don't call there again just before he hung up on me. This is unacceptable, unprofessional, unethical, unconscionable, and down right criminal!As of this moment, I’ve phoned and written the company and am still waiting for the results of their investigation as to how the driver they contract with has been held accountable and when the items I entrusted in their care will be returned to me. I would have given them no stars. Who in their right mind would pay Starway Logistics $1,400 to ship merchandise only to lose $10,000 worth of possessions. For all the reasons stated above, I give Starway Logistics LLC zero stars & wouldn’t recommend anyone take the risk of paying for their services!
